So I’ve been thinking on making the switch from ugl trt to rx trt.

i have great insurance and after getting 90 dosages of 2mg albuterol for 12 bones, I def think it’ll be cheaper and probably safer than currently.

anyhow, I’m currently on 125mg test e every 7 days and wondering how long I should wait till I go in to have my test levels checked.
I know the research shows in most men, test levels plummet after 7 days.
my last injection was 7 days ago.
What do y’all think? Go another week on nothing?
I’ve been on since January.

When I was on 120mg every 7 days I'd be 1215ng's the day after and 706 on the 7th day. I'd wait another week. If you are over 300ng's, the chances of your doc scripting you test are low and the chances of insurance covering it are even lower. Just my $0.02.

If you have any hope at getting a prescription (let alone eventually getting to 125mg), you had better go in bottomed out to start with and demonstrate the progress / lack of progress needed to get to 125mg. I would go with no injections at all for many weeks (like at least 6 weeks).

I may be wrong and depends on how well his test production recovers, but I would assume his test levels to be higher on 6 weeks without exogenous androgens, than 3 weeks after the last pin.

That makes sense to me but I could be wrong as well

Ok I did not realize this! I have been using about 6 weeks to keep my levels acceptable. But if I got bloodwork a few weeks post cycle, my level would probably be lower than after six weeks.

As soon as the test or other exogenous androgens have cleared your body, or are at very low level, your body tries to start to bring endogenous hormone production back up. How fast levels rise depends on many things, but typically with test E you want to start taking the serm to speed up the process about 3 weeks or so after last pin. So in this case his body would have been trying to raise hormone levels about 3 weeks in the 6 week mark after last pin.

Theres alot riding on the results of this. If this was me, depending on how badly I wanted this to work, Id take something suppressive for after the exogenous test clears AND do my own bloods prior to seeing a doctor just to be confident my bloods are exactly where I want them.

Basically you want Total Test, LH and FSH tanked to fukery. Well once the current test clears, Id want to be on something like a SARM that Im fairly confident will not raise TT and will lower LH/FSH. And do my own bloods to check.

Just a heads up, I've seen ppl come off test prop after contest prep and 2weeks later there test is still above the reference range. So if it's 2 weeks on prop does that then test e or c your probably gonna wanna wait 5-6 weeks because I gotta assume with the half life 4 weeks is gonna be when your coming down significantly.

I think they say 5 half life's to eliminate a drug.

So with long ester test your talking about 50 days to drop it to rock bottom

Yea big Paul from anabolic bodybuilding says it takes 5 half lives for a compound to completely clear which is why he always recommends npp over deca and he seems like a really knowledgeable guy. And Paul says he follows dr mike pretty closely

If going by half life, 27 days post injection puts test at around 2mg, normal range produced by men is 7mg daily.

So yeah I’ll give it another 3-4 weeks.

S23 is exactly what I had in mind. Can’t pop for an androgen on a cheap test the way nandrolone can be read as total test sometimes.

Let it clear, run some S23 towards the end of the clearing out, have them check you.

Just got my morning bloods back, and my testosterone was 50, and my estrogen was 15.

Did you run any S23 or just give the test e several weeks to diminish?
Yeah I ran s23, but I dropped it 3 days before the test.

Got my first shot of the good stuff.
100mg prop/cyp blend.
Curious if I notice a difference between ugl and pharma.
certainly easier to inject the glute when it’s someone else doing it!

I felt very sh1tty.
Estrogen ratio was high for test level, but for my body as a whole, also extremely low. Def had a huge impact on joints and sexual desire.

Just curious dropping 100 mg s4 3 days before test didn’t mess up your cholesterol? No red flags for the doctor?

Who’s this for? I didn’t use s4, I used s23, and they didn’t check my cholesterol. Just my test, estrogen, rbc, and hematocrit

but my cholesterol even back when I was heavily using orals has never been bad, that’s more a personal and genetic thing.

Hey @brofessorx. Glad to hear you got the Rx for the real deal, sounds like you got a good doc (Urologist?) like mine. Aside from the S23 discussion, for when to stop the UGL stuff before seeing the doc, did you discover or notice you were in permanent shutdown from years on UGL cycles anyway?

I mean if any of us here have decent insurance, and have been cycling for years... you're likely hypogonadic anyway and just don't know it, should get not rely only on UGL for TRT and get a real RX for TRT and a doctor to monitor.. Sure you gotta clean up your act when you go to see him and not be blastin' ( I get bloodwork before I go, after I'm off cycle so I know what he'll see when taking it).

Also, I just did this TRT dose adjustment too, once prescribed the copay was $20 for like 6-months of Test Cyp 200 and he gave me refills for like another ~year. So everyone on TRT, with insurance should do that, so you have more $ for other fun things.

And if he's a good Urologist, he offers the SubQ and the oral Testosterone or transdermals aside from IM, and heck wound up getting legit Cialis RX out of the discussion, two birds with one stone. Tell him you're low-T and have low libido too.

I wasn’t shut down but last time I got my labs after being off for a year my test was in the low 300’s.
I’ve actually been thinking about that for the cialis.
