Trt help.

Ok I have taken two separate blood tests and both came back showing I have low test. But I'm not sure my doctor really knows how's test works. They called me today and told me to come in to take an injection of test. And to come back in 1 week to test my blood again to see if it helped. Is this normal practice for trt or should I maybe go to a specialist? Also not sure if there going to keep giving me injections or what honestly.

What kind of doctor is this...?
In the US?

You are best off in the hands if an endo and getting a full hormone panel before jumping into this.

May I ask if you are displaying symptoms?

How low is your T?

This just my family doctor and yes I'm in the U.S. My first test came back at 257 taken at 9:30 am. Second test came 240 and was taken at 8:00 am. The reason I went in was because I work a very long work week 65+ hours and I have been extremely fatigued the last 6 months. Just having trouble doing my job that I have done for years. So went to my doctor asking what might be wrong and here I am. I did take an injection today. It was 1mL of test unsure what ester though. I'm 27 years old 6ft 195.

I'd put it off as long as possible maybe change up diet and or OTC test booster. Just know trt is pretty much for life.

Ok that seems very fast to me, without consulting an endocrinologist first. But it will work for you.

OP, are you or have you cycled anything? What supplements are you using?

Not cycling anything right now. Have done a few ph cycles in the past. Hdrol and epistane. But those were years ago. I'm just taking fish oils and protein. With the exception of the injection I got yesterday.

Do you want kids? This is VERY important. I had a few docs try to put me on test at 29 (now I'm 32) but my wife put her foot down. I also had three tests below 250, so I needed TRT. I finally went to a urologist at Cleveland Clinic who put me on Clomid. It's been working great and I'm still fertile (wife is pregnant now)! He will switch me to test injections when we are done having kids, but will NOT put me on test before. The risk of infertility is to high and he's seen to many "sad stories" of young guys getting thrown on test without knowing all of the consequences.

Feel free to PM me with questions.
