TRT experience

Made a quick trip to get under the care of an expert instead of the clinics I have been dealing with.

Guess today would be the start of my new therapy

What has been removed:

- Nandrotest injections have been stopped
- Nandrolone Gel has been removed

What is staying:

- Testosterone cream 20%
1ml per day for 120 days

- Anastrozole 0.5 mg
2 capsules per week

- Somatropin
1iu daily for 28 more days

What is added:

- HCG
200iu every two days

- Pregnenolone 10% cream
1ml daily

- Zinc 50mg
1 daily

- Copper 2mg
1 daily

- DHEA 25mg
2 daily

- Vit E - Gamma
400iu daily

I am also going to change my diet and get more veggies. Just got back from the store where I picked up some precooked chicken and some stir fry veggies. Should be able to eat two bags of the veggies per day.

Also picked up some bananas and oranges to go with the apples I already had at home.

Missed the gym, so went in this morning and had a great workout. Increased weights on almost everything.

Thats all for now

Last Soma inject was a waste, so on to the second vial. Guess I was a little nervous with adding the HCG :-)

Went to my primary physician this morning to get the blood pressure meds checked. Have been running around 150/90 recently.

Told him the change to Benicar last month didnt help, so I went right back to the Atenolol. He wants me to remain on the Atenolol 50mg daily, and take a Benicar HCT 20mg/12.5 mg daily to see if that helps. After one week if the pressure is still up, then increase to two Benicar HCT daily. If that helps decrease the pressure, then try splitting the Atenolol into half to see if I can ween myself off of it.

All else fails, be back in 2-3 weeks.

Blood pressure reached 158/90 today. Not sure what is going on, but I am not liking this very much.

Test cream was started on Saturday along with the HCG.

Thats all for now.

Beta Blockers, such as Atenolol, are well known to cause depression, hypogonadism and impotence. That is why I recommend switching to an ARB class antihypertensive.

But never just drop meds such as these. Make changes only under the direction of your physician.

Went to the primary as you suggested. Benicar is in the ARB class. Since a direct switch over didnt work right the last time, my primary asked me to try taking the Benicar as I continue the Atenolol. If the pressure went down, I was to try cutting the Atenolol in half.

Problem is my pressure is going up even on the combined Atenolol and Benicar.

Pressure was down to 127/65 at one point this morning, and back up to 149/80 a few hours later.

Could all of this be related to the GHT and TRT?

You are changing your medications, your hormones, and your lifestyle. Such sea changes will cause wild fluctuations as your body readjusts.

Thanks for the response.

Wasnt expecting the BP to fluctuate so much.

Made the move to two of the Benicor HCT's today, and I feel better. Some things feel a little cold, but that is how it goes :-)

Girlfriend has been worried about what I have been putting into my body. Say's she doesnt understand it all. However, today at lunch she said "I can see the changes in your bod". Hmmmm... nice to get the compliment.

Jumped on the scale today just to see what it was showing after I already had breakfast. Was nice to see no increase even though I had some food/liquid in me.

Increased the veggies this week. Went out to eat and got a salad last night on top of the chicken I already ate for supper. Trying to get as much salad/vegetables as I can put in me.
