Trouble finding meets.

I've been looking up on yahoo and aol for powerlifting competitions in Ohio because I've been wanting to powerlift for a while now and I think I've finally got strong enough to do good in the 132 weight class. I found a few meets in Ohio but it doesn't say the weight classes or age to be able to enter. Can anyone recomend me a site or if you live in Ohio do you know where theres meets I could enter? Thanks for your time.

None in Ohio, but some in Indiana, Ill. and Michigan.
 
Well our company RPN will be sponsoring a meet in August in Cinnci. I know Invalid Link Removed has some coming up in Grove City. They are a division of westside. I'll look for you, I know there are a bunch in ohio. Invalid Link Removed
 
Oh alright, thanks for all the help I tried a few sites but nothing worked, I'll post something after my 1st meet if I can find one later on this year.
 
Tattoo, thanks for the link I found a meet that is long enough away that it gives me time to make sure I'm in perfect shape. If you go to the site I'm going to compete in the one aftter Nationals, the one thats in November I'll be competing in at 132, thanks for the help.

Contact Westside barbell, and get a copy of Powerlifting USA. All the meets are posted in the back.

Louie Simmons at Westside can also tell you when the local and regional meets are. He is even hosting a few meets, although they are usually for the elites.

If you are near Columbus or can get there, start getting involved with his gym, and your competitions knowledge will skyrocket.
 
Lexen extreme has a training facility that works with Westside and they have personal training courses to get you competition ready. They are holding a meet in October in Grove City
