*Transfering Question* from 50ml Vial to smaller vials

Hey guys,

Suppose I had a 50ml Vial of Enan and/or Eq.
And I wanted to transfer the 50ml to separate presealed vials (20ml, 20ml, and 10ml).

1st Question: Do I have to pressurize the 50ml vial with 50ccs of air to draw the 50mls out? Don't want the thing to explode...

2nd Question: On the presealed vials (getpinz) - do they have air in them? Do I have to remove this air before transferring?

Process?

Take 50cc syringe with 20G pin with filter, fill with 50cc of air,
insert in 50ml ENAN vial, inject air, draw 50ml of ENAN, remove
needle, take off filter and pin, put on new 20G needle, put in
20ml (airfree?) vial, inject 20ml of ENAN, remove from vial, put in 20ml (airfree?) vial, inject 20ml of ENAN, remove from vial, put in 10ml(airfree?) vial, inject 10ml of ENAN.

Repeat process with EQ.
 
just filtering the gear with a whattman into the smaller vials should be fine. you won't need to transfer the air out of the presealed vials, and i wouldn't pressurize the vial with 50ml of air all at once.

Draw it out without the filter, then filter into the sealed vial. I'd use a different pin for each vial, but I'm just paranoid.

Instead of filling with air etc, you can vent the vials with another small pin through the stopper while you're drawing/filling.

Don't forget to swab the tops...

I will put on the filter after the 50ml is drawn.

How much air should I pressurize the 50ml vial with? will I have to poke it 2 times?
 
It won´t explode,you only wouldn´t be abe to suck anything of the liquid out of it anymore if the vacuum gets too strong.

try to break one vial ,holding it in one hand.You won´t be able to do it with your hand,neither with a plastic plunger.

i think he's talking about injecting 50ml's of air into a 50ml jug of test so he can draw it all out with one fatal swoop. in that case, i've heard of guys doing the same thing and the top popping off from the pressure and gear spraying everywhere.
 
how much should I draw out at once? 20ml (of 50ml)?
this includes added 20ccs of air then drawing 20mls.
 
well, IMO, even though i haven't tried it, i would start smaller than that. more like in the 10ml range, then do 20, then 20 once more and that'll be all.
 
10,20,20 - total pokes = 3

last question, drawing with a 25G pin would take forever yes?
I have 20g pins, but they are already attached to their syringes.

oh I mean its on 3cc syringes - I need to take it off, and discard the little syringe - and attach it to the 60cc jugernaut syringe.
 
maybe ill just order them, seeing as I won't be starting for a little :(
 
ha good i'd rather... wait would that be 6 needles for 6 separate draws - or keep just 2 keeping the Test and EQ separate

this SDrol has messed up my lipid profile - should I reconsider the Dbol?

just use 2, that'll suffice, paranoid bastard. :hammer:

as for the dbol, i'm no medical expert so i can't help you on that one. i know for me i'd do it anyway but i ain't the brightest bulb in the knife drawer. :blink: :think:
 
I would suggest drawing from the 50mL with a large needle but transferring into the smaller vials with a smaller needle. Also, heat the oil before hand for a quicker transfer. Enjoy

just a guess, but would that be to minimize the damage to the smaller vial stopper?

Yes. it will be more time consuming but worth having a "solid" stopper in my opinion.

wait now this is tricky - because I can't filter all 50ml....
 
its been about 3 hrs and i have maybe 35ml transfered
this is unreal
 
still slightly confused why you are filtering?

you normally would draw the gear from the vial and inject into YOUR BODY without filtering .. why would i be different to draw from a vial and inject into another STERILE vial?
 
but that is assuming the gear is sterile to begin with though?
it's not really the filter that's slowing this down... it's just goes drip-drip-drip (25G), then every once in a while I give it a push.

its been about 5hours and I'm 65% finish with just the Enan..
 
Bro, you're supposed to be using the 20g to transfer with :D Hahahaha.......transferring 100mL of solution with a 25g needle is gonna take years! LOL

edit: And, the filter has little to do with sterility. It just gets out small particles. (Anything larger that 45um). The baking has more to do with sterility.
 
ahh at last 7hours - and done with just the EQ.
I did use the 20g....
 
note to self, draw air out of presealed vials next time.
that was the problem. cost me 8hours on my life.
finally done, my left arm is bleeding (seriously) and i'd say .02ml of gear got lost in the transfer. Well, not lost, its on my clothes.
