Why? Doesn’t have oral bioavailability issues, so this just makes an expensive drug even more expensive. And it’s not terribly toxic so what’s the benefit here?

It's methylated and transdermal delivery of drugs may represent a means to avoid or minimize oral adverse effects.

Anyone know the oral absorption rate? According to this, it’s only 25% transdermally. It should be beneficial as far as reducing liver stress though.
