trans Resveratrol vs Resveratrol

Resveratrol (3,5,4'-trihydroxystilbene) is a polyphenolic phytoalexin. It is a stilbenoid, a derivate of stilbene, and is produced in plants with the help of the enzyme stilbene synthase.

It exists as two geometric isomers: cis- (Z) and trans- (E), with the trans-isomer shown in the top image. The trans- form can undergo isomerisation to the cis- form when exposed to ultraviolet irradiation.[78] Trans-resveratrol in the powder form was found to be stable under "accelerated stability" conditions of 75% humidity and 40 degrees C in the presence of air.[79] Resveratrol content also stayed stable in the skins of grapes and pomace taken after fermentation and stored for a long period.

I think right now its all trans, but its not a prefix that is mentioned, cause no one wants to buy the old formulations. In my experience its best to buy 98-99% pure, micronized Resveratrol. Purity is the major issue for most people.

thx but are they both as effective? which is better for pct?

Its not just for PCT, people that dont lift or cycle use it daily. Its helpful and non-hormonal although some people cant take it without sides. Trans is the only type that shows benefit, so thats all thats being made. A board sponsor has a product with a Resveratrol twist to it, its not trans or cis, but reports are good it is a PCT product. I dont recall exactly who has it though, decent price too! maybe some one knows what Im talking about and will name it.

what about sustain alpha vs pct assist for example. sustain is reve and pct assist is tran-rever

it seems that trans res is the only stable powder form so there both trans resv. the only diff is amount and how it get into your blood stream Transdermal or oral.
