Training confused : /

I'm starting a cycle soon and with natty training iv got best results from compound muscle group training, etc training all the big muscle groups in one session 3 times a wk (every other day one day to heal)but my mate said I need to spot train on my cycle etc train one muscle group 1 day a wk (legs mon, shoulders tues etc) although I did this 1 year ago and it didnt work from me at all I didn't grow at all.

I don't wanta not take his advice cos it worked for him but at the same time I don't wanta waste my cycle on a training program that doesn't work for my body.
As I know things work for some ppl mayb not work for others.

What does every one thing?

if what you are doing is working for you, don't change it. You don't have to train each body part on its own day once a week. while on cycle your recovery will be even faster so you should see better results than you already experiencing
 
Thanks for the reply mate yeah thats exactly what I throught what's working keep with it as ppl body's and muscles respond to different training methods. Well I'm gaining pretty good ATM but this cycle should kick it up a knock, cheers mate
