I am starting Halodrol tomorrow, and want to do a 6day push/pull/legs routine.
Will this be too much? Thoughts?

What does your routine look like exercises, reps, etc
Push pull legs repeat, off.
Or I may do a 5 day split with 1 day dedicated to deadlifts and calfs.
Been working out for the latter
I am in a hypertrophy block and using a 2 x push-pull-legs split. The microcycle requires 6 total training days with high volume on one major movement followed by 2-3 ancillary movements per day. Below are the days and the respected major movements:Incline DB PressBent Over or Chest supported rowSquatStrict standing pressPull upsGood morningI have been going by feel. Some times I will train 4-5 days in a row before a rest day, others it may be 1-2 days before requiring a rest day.
So your splitting each pull and push with horizontal and vertical movements?
Can you give an example of your push days?
Thanks
Sure. I try to super set each exercise with either a mobility or core movement.
Day 1:
Incline DB Press, sessions 1-2: 8 x 10, sessions 3-4 8 x 8, sessions 5-6: 6 x 6
Lateral Raise, sessions 1-2: 5 x 12, sessions 3-4: 5 x 10, sessions 5-6: 5 x 8
Lying triceps extension, sessions 1-2: 3 x 10, sessions 3-4: 3 x 8, sessions 5-6: 3 x 6
Day 2 (follows same periodization scheme)
Standing press
Flat DB Fly
Triceps Press
That is correct. This is a work capacity and hypertrophy dominated block.I should have been more specific. I am working up in weight on the primary movement to a rep max, and then working back down. So the first few sets are working, but sub-maximal, and there is only 1 set to failure on the primary movement. In example, 10 rep day of incline DB was something like:85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 105, 105, 95, 90I'm having a hard time understanding that..are you really doing 50+ sets???
If you are taking Halodrol, make the most of it. Hit it up 6 times a week, eat lots and clean and get your sleep in.
