Top grade Ear Phones

I feel a huge difference in quality when I blast some tunes from the computer to when I play the same songs in the gym... now I'm looking to shorten that difference.

I got around $100 on hand for a solid set of earphones, but there are SO many to choose from. Any good recommendations? I'd obviously be looking for a snug fit for running/lifting. Really looking to hear that base and quality (been using 15 dollar cheapo-depo's for too long).

'RAH!

Well, I don't use them for working out, but I dropped some cash on the [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Shure-E4c-Sound-Isolating-Earphones/dp/B0007XGOTG/ref=pd_bbs_3/105-3428208-8966021?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1188684653&sr=8-3"]Shure e4c's[/ame] and they're pretty much the most amazing in-ear headphones that I've ever had. The sound is crystal clear, and they reduce outside noise the the point where I can't hear lawnmowers when playing my music at moderate volumes.

They have cheaper (equally good) models, like the shure e3c's and 2c's, but you might want to consider if you want to work out while not being able to hear anything but your music.

Did I mention that in many cities you can even get a custom made in-ear piece?

By the way, one great thing about their noise reduction is that you don't have to play your music loud to hear everything.

Say, those look real nice... I'm a compulsive buyer when it comes to training gear (lol, not with anything else), but I'll look into those other models you mentioned too just to see if I can save some money.
Do you think they block out noise so well that I wouldn't be able to hear cars honking? Or people screaming at me... (lol)
I ask because I will be using these a lot for running, and cars are somewhat of a concern just in case.....

Yes. For example, I refuse to bike in these as I probably wouldn't hear cars honking or people yelling. Though you could turn the music down a bit, most of the different plugs that come with these headphones tend to isolate noise pretty well without anything playing.

I buy Sony sport ones that clip onto my ear. (earbuds fall out).
$15-$20.
Yes, I could buy better ones - but chronic sweat on the earphones eventually leads to their demise. That or just the cable accidentally hitting something.
I'll have to see if I can find any relatively cheap outside noise reduction ones.

Seinhauser earbuds came with my Iriver. They are the best I have ever used. I dont know what model they are though. I need to start looking for a new set myself shortly.

The bass response from them is incredible.

I am not sure if you are able to purchase them separately, but the ones I got for my Samsung k5 earbuds are the best stock buds I had come across.

I second the Shure e4's.
Awesome.

Best part about Shure is the warranty. I had an issue with sound out of the left ear bud - sent them back and got a new pair.

I agree with RedwolfWV.

I bought a pair of Seinheisers ear buds from online (Invalid Link Removed) to use with my Sony discman as I work and they were the best.
