I dont see how anyone making 8.50 could make it renting an apt here . Nothing lower that 900 a month unless of course you want to reformulate the economy and pass out rent vouchers. When i was making that little it was hard . Now im making 4 to 5000 a month i forget wat its like to struggle. I have to pass a urine test at my job . The guy with the ebt didn't. Thats wat pisses me off about it.

I don't support hourly salary in general, it doesn't make sense and isn't fair.
I want to help poor people by eliminating the IRS and income tax, SS tax and Medicare as well as the Obamacare mandate so they have more money in their pocket.
Also reverting to the gold and silver standard, abolishing the federal reserve and providing poor people with a stable currency will help them much more in the long run than simply mandating to pay them more. Or else they will need $50/hr to live and they will still need a pay raise and pizza will cost $20 a slice.

Im more bugged by feminists and gays. Here is the thing, I believe in equal rights to, and I support power to the woman as well as gays. Equal rights, as in support the power of individual liberty for all. I even have no problem with gay marriage. But when I see gays for example bully some woman just because she has her own conscientious beliefs and Im force fed gay gay gay through mainstream television, its really pissing me off.
As far as the race thing, I feel like they want to cause race wars as well with the police, when really the enemy is most in Washington fueling all of this. We need to be united as this isnt a black/white issue, its a power vs. the people issue. Black people who feel empowered by Obama need to remember, Obama's party promoted civil rights back in the 60's only to gain the vote, and has historical connections with the KKK. The fact that Obama is a blood thirsty anti human rights war mongering president who has stripped down everybody's individual liberty and freedon should be enough for 100% of the population to reject him and his party and everyone of all races to unit to impeach and arrest Obama.

Yeah I see what you mean, but although you may reduce the incentive to have kids your still going to have alot of kids become ward of the state.
Then if you think about it, we probably will spend alot more on tax dollars having goverment responsible for the kids, alot more than we give to welfare money. There is room and board, the food industry, the drugs they will put them on, etc....lobby will suck up the system and bureaucracy will make that more expensive anyways even if government was well intent to grow the kid right.
What if you use the threat to take away their welfare if they have any more kids? Then the mother will really have the incentive not to have kids, right? After all they want that Obama money!

any time you try to make changes to something as broke as the welfare system it is going to cost more initially, but once mothers realize they are going to loose all of their meal tickets if they have more I think they would wise up...

How about punishment for the parents, such as community service. You know, now Im thinking. You want welfare and cant get a job there is plenty of community service potential to earn the welfare checks and foodstamps. If your not working and you want that Obama-money, there are plenty of streets to clean, parks to maintain, I mean the potential for this country to rise up is real. Lets put welfare people to work for the money they get.
Being real here....no job, need welfare, you can earn it. You cant use "Im busy, or have not time" excuse, we know your not working. All you have to do is serve community service and you will earn an opportunity to have food on your table and have some bills helped pay for.

The healthy ones? We can allocate some public property and on site training and they can build their own low cost living quarters while earning their foodstamps.

We can implement that in the communities and community service...its more opportunities as its another job to earn those welfare checks and food stamps. Childcare workers. We can try to implement educational system into that as well to serve a better purpose. Also, I think these days we live in a spoiled society. Why not kids work a little? It will teach them discipline and acquire skills to take them into the future.
One of the hardest working people I know lived through borderline slave labor as a kid with his disciplined parents. Always doing work in the yard and growing a garden, he was able to take these skills and discipline with him to help him be successful as an adult. I wish I had more of that when I was a kid.

My ideas arent perfect, but certainly can even be much better than what I make up in a flash in my head. As far as kids go, Im in no way suggesting they go through what my friend went though...but do some limited time like a couple hours, and nothing to crazy with labor. Having a childhood is good. Remind them this is what life may be like if you dont study hard in school. Ive seen with my own eyes and own relatives welfare being generational. Its becomes like a privilege that you want to grow into from day one.
My idea's would never happen here, its close to impossible. We have a greater chance even with Trump in power that we bring 10's of thousands of "migrants" from the middle east over here and give them welfare and Medicaid from day one and add to the status quo.

If we elimintated 100% of all income tax, we still collect enough in other taxes as is to fund 90's government. We can just eliminate all income tax, replace it with nothing and leave everything else as is for now....cut the trillions in socialist and public waste as well as military, etc....

It takes billions of dollars out of the legitimate private economy, with most Americans giving more than a third of everything they make to the federal government. This economic drain destroys jobs and penalizes productive behavior. The ridiculous complexity of the tax laws makes compliance a nightmare for both individuals and businesses. All things considered, our Founders would be dismayed by the income tax mess and the tragic loss of liberty which results.
America without an income tax would be far more prosperous and far more free, but we must be prepared to fight to regain the liberty we have lost incrementally over the past century. I recently introduced “The Liberty Amendment,” legislation which would repeal the 16th Amendment and effectively abolish the income tax. Congress talks about reform, but the current tax debate really involves nothing of substance. Drugs fueled the gangster era, caused ALOT of people stress and heartache as they almost ended up larger than the law itself. What you're proposes would essentially destroy the US with lawlessness. We can look back on history and not repeat it for a reason.
Cutting down social welfare will push people to the brink of death from poverty; especially minorities where racism prevents them from getting a good stable job, as well as people who work hard but arnt very skilled so they earn little. Some people genuinely need the money to live - yes some abuse the system but some work just as hard as you and get remunerated very little.
If you pay income tax, that is one large tax but its money you never see. If you have to pay more day to day taxes, people HATE that. They detest GST hikes (we pay tax on all products and we recently increased it from 12.5% to 15% while lowering income tax and guess what? People threw a **** storm).
Even if it all balanced out people dont care, its the fact theres now taxes on EVERYTHING.
I agree that countries need to cut back spending ; absolutely. I also like the idea of increasing wealthier peoples taxes by 5% and dropping the least income earners by 5-10%. Considering they end up asking for a helping hand anyway, more money in their pocket might reduce that.

If you decriminalize drugs and end the war on drugs as a whole, those gangsters wouldnt rise to power. Prohibition empowers criminals and imprisons millions of non-violent people. If you pay day to day taxes, thats a choice. You have control over how to spend the money you earned. Government pick pocketing peoples labor before they get to choose how to spend it is pure tyrannical and hurts lower and middle class prosperity.

This is why its good to have different states, different countries and different continents. Not everybody will agree what type of system should run. Socialist countries go broke, and as we can see the health care system in the USA is getting worse as its getting more socialized. Social Security is in shambles. Welfare is in shambles. The country is dead broke, and if we dont fix and get rid of these failed policies, it will be inevitable that the system will collapse at some point and everybody will lose everything and there will be nothing anyone can do about it. Put the power in peoples hands rather than having a nanny state, the country will prosper again.

Alcohol is legal yet is causes ALOT of issues for law enforcement DAILY. If you make it legal the only thing you control is who buys and how its made - but the substance itself can cause irreparable harm to a lot of people who then redirect that harm onto others.
It would be very negligent of a govt to allow something like meth/ coke etc be legalised because it has implications far beyond that of the user.
It may seem like theyre losing, but when you look at countries where drug supply RUNS the country, then you see the govt actually does a good job at stopping it from gripping a country. Its a neccessary expense.
Its very easy to sit at a computer, pull out numbers that suppory a fact and wonder why something Isnt being done. Where real straetgical value comes in is seeing the ramifications (fiscally, socially and otherwise) of such big decisions and youll see its never simple.

Now with the aid of the US Military poppy production in Afghanistan has risen to over 90% globally. So what Im trying to say is, police and the DEA are fighting in the wrong place. You all should be going over the Afghanistan and face the US Military who are aiding to produce the drugs to begin with. End production and you end heroin. There are a trillion other sources of drugs anyways and all kinds of chemicals, so you all lose anyways but at least people cant do heroin that is which after 40 years, a trillion and a half plus dollars along with a joke of the Federal Government has failed to slow down.

Thats not all, I didnt post the video where the Military officer felt bad that the Taliban burn their crop and he handed the farmer some $500 American tax dollars and promised to stop by and hand him a couple thousand more the next day. He told him how bad he felt that the drugs were destroyed.
