Too much Pregnenolone?

Just doing a little research on Pregnenolone, and wondering how much is really too much. I did some reading but cant under stand half the sh1t I read on Pubmed :think: and dont trust some of the other sites. I am taking the new 5 cap version of Get Diesel R4W which contains 45mg and was going to start Reset-A.D. by Palo Alto which contains 25 mg per serving and taking 2 serv. Some articles i read said no more than 5 mg per day some up to 20mg, with these 2 products that would be 95 mg on mon. wed. fri. (my W.O. days) just curious on others opinions on this.

also this means 70 mg in the morning as I W.O. in the morning and that is also the first dose of Reset.

The point is that the dosage varies according to objective, especially because it is a "master hormone" and precursor to other naturally-occurring hormones such as dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), progesterone, estrogen, testosterone, and cortisol. Dosage can, in fact, range from 25mg or less to 300mg daily for a few weeks. The only way to precisely tell how much anyone needs is via a blood test.
Yet, target-dependent dosage for treating rheumatoid arthritis, joint immobility and pain, for instance, is about 300mg intravenously for four weeks and 200mg maintenance afterwards. For regulating high-blood pressure, immune support, and fatigue management, 50mg daily is usually recommended. For combating depression, 25mg - 75mg daily is recommended.
Pregnenolone is the most potent memory enhancer known to science. For enhancing memory and cognitive function (by boosting acetylcholine levels, regulating gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), and supporting neurogenesis), doses range from 50mg to 100mg daily. And so on. So, dosage depends on objective.
 
Thanks strategicmove you posses a plethora of knowledge, I sometimes have a difficult time comprehending the dialogue of Pubmed, and was curious if 90 mg would be over kill between the 2
 
Progesterone is a precursor to T when it’s produced naturally in the testes, where the necessary enzymes are there to make the conversion to testosterone. It doesn’t raise testosterone when it’s taken exogenously, because it will reach the brain and cause LH shutdown before it will ever interact with the steroidogenic enzymes in the balls to convert to Test.

Plus it readily converts to progesterone when taken exogenously. That’s why we use a very limited amount in Dermacrine. Its just enough to control DHT conversion from the androgens. Someone not taking pro-hormones/steroids or someone not trying to reduce DHT, would likely not benefit from pregnenolone supplementation. Excess supplemental pregnenolone will convert to excess progesterone and that can lead to libido problems and gyno.

I wouldnt go any higher than the amounts listed in the above supplements.
