Sunday 13th May 2018 End of Week 4 Cutting / Fat Loss Update

Refeed, day today and weekly weigh in.

Just took weight and i am at 190.25lbs or 13st 8 1/4 lbs.

I am down 6.25 lbs in one week which is allot for me, condition has improved greatly though, i was happy when analysing physique in mirror after not looking for whole month which has been hard

Tony took his weight and is 144.5lbs or 10 st 4 1/2 lbs, he is also down 2.5 lbs this week which is more reasonable than my loss, he is also looking the best i have seen him. Images / transformation video will be made at end of 10 week period, this is week 4, the video will show the start from a bulked condition to week 4, week 6, week 8 and the final result week 10. At this rate in 10 weeks we should be at the lowest body fat so far based on muscle mass gained due to fat percentage just being a ratio of muscle to fat mass.

These videos are awesome! Loving the music in them as well. You guys are killing it! Looking forward to more.

Never tried a psmf but I've been doing a 24 hour fast every week the last month with good results.

Update from Sunday 13th May Refeed.

Update is a little late because i have been busy with work.

Refeed went very well, calories did go way over for both of us, me and Tony went by how we were looking and feeling before stopping the refeed, we started eating at around 11:00 am on Sunday and Finished around 9:00 pm, I ended up using 6 x caps of defuse towards middle and end of day, along with 6 caps of White Kidney Bean, my usual 4 x caps of Assass1nate split am and pm and 6 x caps of Lipomyl / Myproteins fat binders which is supposed to be effective for around 180 grams of fat which may have been a little overkill because my fat intake did not go too high, i also used my usual FD2 at 1 cap 3 times per day for total of 3 caps. My Protein Super B Complex, Alphamen Multi, Liquid L Carnitine, Vitamin C and mega green tea were all used as my daily staples.

My Refeed Macros were : 8615 Kcals, 317.3g Protein, 1629g Carbohydrates, *63.5g Fat ( was going to keep this at 50g or under but 13.5 grams over is quite good i feel due to mass calories consumed. Defuse and My Protein Fat binders were used due to this.

Overall i gained 10lbs the next day so weighed in at 200.25 lbs, did not seem to have any spillover and was starving yesterday morning, muscles ended up looking much fuller and abs improved, i know when i spill over because abs tend to blur quite a bit but this did not occur which i am very happy with due to how much calories and carbs i consumed.

Tony's Refeed Macros were: 5310 Kcals, 147.45g Protein, 1111.7g Carbohydrates, *26.03g Fat, but probably more like 66 grams of fat because he ended up adding low fat butter spread to 5 slices of toast. ( his total kcals would have been around 5600-5700 then when adding in this additional fat, he also looked much better the next day without any spill over and was hungry in the am yesterday.

He also gained 7.25 lbs weighing in at 151.75 lbs yesterday am after refeed.

Tony & Paul - Workout - Legs 132 - Monday 14th May 2018

Yesterday's leg workout, went well overall, energy was up but weight still felt heavy on squats, not using pre workouts for leg days does make them a little harder but should allow me to push and get even stronger when i start back up on them, any feedback or thoughts on top pre workouts currently now that DMAA has gone, i was thinking of Re1gn or anything on par with Mesomorph.

Tony & Paul - Workout - Chest 39 - Tuesday 15th May 2018

Todays chest workout went well, still weights did feel heavy which is odd considering the refeed which normally provides more of an increase in strength and overall energy levels, i did get a much better pump for this workout and muscle fullness was increased.

Tony & Paul - Workout - Back & Arms 48 - Wednesday 16th May 2018

Yesterday's back and arm workout went quite well, did tweak my back a little though by going up to 270 lbs for low rows on pulley, i was feeling strong so jumped from 225 to 270 which caused a little pulled muscle odd feeling in lower back lumber near L5 disc area, i did feel a little stiff today but will be using a belt for my shoulder workout to prevent any further aggravation.

Next week i will be sticking to 225 for all sets of low rows and not push, my goal now is to maintain as much muscle as possible whilst lowering body fat so i do not plan on chasing for new PB's even though i feel better in some of my workouts.

Tony & Paul - Workout - Shoulders 18 - Thursday 17th May 2018

Shoulder workout was performed on correct day yesterday, i split workout to perform pressing movements and dumbbell work in am fasted and cable work in pm after 1 meal and 1 protein shake. Back was great, i thought i pulled it during wednesday's back workout but it just went away which i was and am happy with, strength seems to be maintaining with shoulders which is good, energy levels are feeling a little low today though.

Todays leg workout went really well, i did feel very tired and lethargic today though but strength levels were great which was surprising, i feel a pre workout would be of aid now for the next, last 5 weeks of my cut, any recommendations, i am used to the hard hitting DMAA or AMP based pre workouts and loved Dust Extreme and Mesomorph.

Tony & Paul - Workout - Back 65 - Saturday 19th May 2018

Yesterdays back workout performed at 7:00pm due to work earlier in day, i also started eating at 10:30 am yesterday and finished by around 5.25pm so workout was performed after main meal and 3 protein shakes, no protein or food was consumed post workout which did make me feel a little hungrier in the night, from now on i will try and save at least 1 protein shake for post workout consumption.

Strength was decent but was cautious not to aggravate back when rowing by paying more attention to control of weight.

Sunday 20th May 2018 End of Week 5 Cutting / Fat Loss Update

Weekly weigh in.

Paul (ME) 14st 2lbs or 198 lbs ( +7.75 lbs in one week)

Tony 10st 4lbs or 144 lbs (-1/2 or 0.5 lbs in one week)

Ok i have gone up around half a stone and my brother is down 1/2 a pound, i feel fuller, legs seem to have increased in size and t shirts are fitting tighter, condition has improved through hardening though, vascularity is up and strength has also been good, did have some digestion issues, bad stomach and diarrhea yesterday and seem to have the same today which may be causing me to retain more water, sometimes odd things happen with my fat and weight loss, caliper measurements have shown an increase in LBM of around 5 lbs for me which is an improvement, i may have a whoosh next week and entirely different results on scales and calipers.

Energy levels feel down again and i feel a little lethargic but when performing workouts performance is still there, i may lower my creapure intake, i have been using 10 grams per day for the past week vs my usual 5-7 grams, i have also been using 15 grams of l glutamine in my gym drink with creatine vs the usual 10 grams.

Fluid intake has been very high sometimes i am upto 8-10 litres of water / liquids per day and keep having my AM carafe pressed coffee black with no added milk or sugar to aid in the fat loss process.

We are at the half-way mark of the cut, plan was a 10 week cut, progress seems to have been great from just 28 days which was when images were taken e.g. one set on day 0 the sunday before the cut and day 28 the 4th sunday of the cut, last sunday which was also the 1st refeed which worked well, based on images taken 4 weeks seems to look very well, we seem to have leaned up quicker this time round vs previous cuts which has left us surprised and pleased with the progress and more driven to keep pushing full steam ahead with our fat loss / summer cut.

Tony & Paul - Workout - Legs 134 - Monday 21st May 2018

Yesterday's leg workout went quite well, i did feel lethargic and sluggish but still had great power and strength on squats and leg press and was able to add 1 Kilo or 2.2 lbs to my last work set of squats whilst keeping reps the same at 10 which was great considering i am in week 6 of my cut and normally have strength loss not slight gain.

I have also been catching the sun with out great weather lately which has given me a great natural sun tan which will work well for myself and Tony's progress images and film this Sunday to compare to the week 0 and week 4 which will be added at end of this cut.

Tony & Paul - Workout - Chest 40 - Tuesday 22nd May 2018

Todays chest workout went very well, strength is on the increase, still very sluggish and lethargic though, i feel this is down to my modified PSMF diet with IF 16/8 or sometimes 18/6 or 19-20 / 5/4, sometimes is can be like the warrior diet where we both fast for upto 19-20 hours and eat within a 3-4 hour window. I should have my tub of Re1gn tomorrow in Fairy's Kiss flavour which i will be using for my Friday leg workout and Mondays leg workouts as these are always the hardest and usually ones i save a pre workout for.

Took Re1gn for the first time today, went for 2 scoops or 10.55 grams, Fairy's Kiss is awesome, a great pink bubblegum flavour, i did not have any over stimmed feeling, i had mad tunnel vision and extreme focus and slowed down movements on all exercises, the mind to muscle connection with this stuff is great, i find it similar to the original Craze which was spiked before in that there is a vision improvement, i also found it to be calming and relaxing and improved strength and endurance, the pumps were also decent, felt back filling up with blood and vascularity in arms was more noticeable, this masked the lethargic feeling i have been having in my workouts, i also was able to get the USA formula which i think has agmass / agmatine which has been removed from the EU / UK version due to supplement regulations, overall i give this a top rating and cannot wait to try out other flavours if they are all as good as Fairy's Kiss, i was thinking of going for Pandora's Potion Next, i find this to be more subtle than mesomorph but does provide a better sense of focus and mind to muscle connection which i do not have with any other pre workouts, some other pre workouts which are supposed to be great over here in the UK from a well known uk store include Hydrazine which i did find to be effective when i ran a log on it before and also Excelsior which i would like more feedback on in comparison to Re1gn. Jebrook you were spot on with the focus which was most notable in my workouts, but overall this is the most balanced clean energy based pre workout that delivers awesome pumps that i have tried so far, easily a replacement for the Mesomorph i was using and all DMAA and AMP based pre workouts + it tastes much nicer compared to most others that i have tried, i mixed it in around 300-400 ml of water in a 1 litre water jug with ice cubes which i left cool in the freezer for around 45 mins to an hour prior to consumption.

Tony & Paul - Workout - Back & Shoulders 52 - Wednesday 23rd May 2018

Today's workout changed, back to Week 1/3 which is a mix of shoulders with back compared to arms and back which was performed for past / last 3 weeks, this workout went awesome, the addition of Re1gn at 2 scoops made for an awesome combination of focus / endurance / energy and strength, mind to muscle connection was improved and lethargic feeling was masked greatly. Pre workouts like this are a great addition to harsh cutting diets and i would recommend them to make the process easier and keep workout intensity and motivation up.

I will be saving this pre workout mainly for my hardest workouts though which tend to be Mondays and Fridays Leg workouts as well as sometimes the Wednesday workout which can be a little long when combining back and arms or back and shoulders into one large workout which tend to be around 1 1/2 hours long.

Great to hear! It’s not hype when we say Reign is amazing. The flavors were sketchy in initial release but now all are on the same level. Dragons Mist(blue kool-aid), Pandora’s Potion(peach), Krusherz(orange), lions blood(tropical), are all really good. Haven’t tried the new A51 or isee fury(cherry) yet.

Tony & Paul - Workout - Arms 16 - Thursday 24th May 2018

Todays arms, bi and tri workout went well, i had great muscle fullness and pumps despite using no pre workout other than my usual 2 ignit3 caps and sipping on my glutamine and creapure intra workout.

I love me some re1gn!!!

Leg workout went very well today, Re1gn helped with overall energy levels and allowed me to push and set a personal best on seated calves, i was able to use up to 180 lbs for 40 reps vs the 20-25 i could manage before even fully bulked being around 28 lbs heavier than i am now. Workout felt easy overall which was awesome, focus was there again just the same as Wednesday. I was also able to go up to 180 lbs on the thigh adductor machine where i normally use upto 150-160 lbs. I did not push any more weight on leg press though or hack squats because knees felt a little sore / joints seem to be quite dry. Also scales messed up with Re1gn and only displayed 6 grams where i put in around 2.5 scoops worth so probably overdosed a little which i feel a little nauseous from now, providing with a slight comedown. I also find my appetite is booster after workouts since using Re1gn which is harder when i am on my current cut but i am still adhering to it because i have a refeed coming up Sunday 27th May so only one day tomorrow left before the awesome high carb refeed. I am almost at end of Week 6 for this cut so passed the halfway mark of 10 weeks total. after this refeed there will be another one 2 weeks later as planned on week 8 end and then every week for weeks 9-10 and then maybe twice per week once past the final 10th week depending on condition and levels of fat, this applies for both Me and Tony which follow the same workouts and plan for refeeds although there is a slight difference in caloric intake and protein intake for daily diets due to size difference.

Tony & Paul - Workout - Legs 135 - Friday 25th May 2018

Todays leg workout went quite well, legs done for this week now, i do feel Re1gn helped me get through this workout but wish i did not overdose and have 2.5 scoops worth, i will be using other scales next time to prevent error from happening again.

Yes, don't plan on that again, hope to have a good night's sleep tonight after only 2-3 last night.

lol...I can believe it!!! 2 scoops is as high as I've ever gone...just to make it last longer many times I will just use 1 scoop!!!

I will aim to update tomorrow AM sometime with the weekly weigh in update, i also perform 9 point caliper tests (Parillo Method) every sunday taken for me and Tony to see how we are moving forward in terms of Fat Loss. First it is an AM weight check and then the caliper test around 10-15 mins after. Also tomorrow is the end of week 6 for this summer cut so we are both passed the halfway point. Refeed / High Calorie Day tomorrow which i am looking forward to, we are also logging progress images and film for weeks 0 / 6 / 8 / 9 / 10 and maybe 11 / 12 depending on if cut moves on past 10 weeks. this will allow for progression in body comp to be displayed.

Lol My scales messed up, i used a 1/2 gallon jug on my smaller 1mg scales vs 1 gram scales for more precise measuring, the shaker bottle was too big for the platform and this messed up the reading, i had poured 1 scoop in and then a 2nd and it read 6 grams, so i topped a little more in another 1/2 scoop to 1/3 scoop and it stated 6.5 grams, i did not want to waste product and start again so just mixed it and downed it, what's awesome is that with re1gn i did not have any overstimulation and had a great workout, i just felt a little sickly after the workout and comedown in night.

For body fat tests is it recommended to use more sites e.g. 9 point which i do or less for accurate measuring, e.g. is the 9 point overkill and is less points effective overall to still display the changes?

Sunday 27th May 2018 End of Week 6 Cutting / Fat Loss Update

Weekly weigh in.

Paul (ME) 13st 12.5lbs or 194.5lbs (-3.5 lbs in one week) (Body Fat was also down on calipers which was great)

Tony 9st 12.75lbs or 138.75lbs (-5.25 lbs in one week) (Body Fat also down on calipers)

We are both down on weight this week and looked much leaner overall in AM mirror check and in our progress images and film for end Week 6. I was correct in that i would show weight loss this week, sometimes weight takes 2 weeks or more to update and there are sticking points due to fat loss not being a linear process.

Update from Sunday 27th May Refeed.

My calories and macros for refeed / mass calorie day:

10211 Kcal, 371.94g Protein, 1924.5g Carbs, 97.49g Fat *used 6 lipomyl fat binder caps, usual 4 Assass1nate, 3 x FD2 and 9 x caps of new formula of Defuse to aid in dealing with higher fat intake, overall due to calories consumed fat it not too bad considering, not quite 50g or under but at least it was under 100g, + normal dieting days for me have between 9-22.5 grams of fat which is so low 1 day of more fat should not cause too many problems. ( I weighed in with full stomach this AM at 14st 12.75lbs, or 208.75lbs which was a massive 14.25 lbs gain in one day, i gained 1 stone which is most ever i think to date from a high calorie based day.

Tonys were, 6212 Kcal, 113.67g Protein, 1269.16g Carbs, 113.35g Fat * Fat intake was a little more than my intake despite having lower calories, mainly from carbs and protein, We both looked much better this AM, muscles were full and vascularity was increased, Tony is looking great despite higher fat intake than me, yesterday i noticed he had veins through midsection / abs which are new for him and also veins running through chest / pecs, he has never achieved these levels of leanness and vascularity, Calipers indicated around 6% for him. * Note only supps he is using are a multivitamin, generic of alphamen by myprotein, creatine monohydrate at higher dose now, 25-30 grams per day, i am using 30-40 grams per day of the same or creapure to experiment with megadosing, and he uses Whey protein and micellar casein proteins, only fat burner would be caffeine in AM black coffee. "He has been using no fat burning supps or natty anabolics supps, just protein, multi and creatine which proves fat loss is just down to diet mainly. (I feel he has advantage due to age, being 19, natty T levels should be at their peak which i feel is aiding him with levels of leanness and maintenance with muscle strength during this cut.

Calories were quite high for yesterday but we do not regret it and will diet hardcore for the next 2 weeks before the end of week 8 update on fat loss, these mass calorie days seem to restore dedication to diet and also make the process easier by restoring energy levels for a few days and helping out the mind, it gives a sense of light at the end of the tunnel.

Update for Yesterday Monday 28th May and this AM 29th May 2018

As an update, i had a great leg workout yesterday due to mass of food consumed on the sunday prior to workout, also looked much fuller due to being around a stone up in weight, what was great is that i had no bloating yesterday and did not spill over slightly until late afternoon, usually there is a delay of around 24-30 hours when eating mass food before it makes a change on my bodies appearance, it is now Tuesday morning, and refeed was on Sunday, some times 1-2 days after i look a little more watery but overall it has not occured, i feel this may be down to using the 9 caps of defuse spread through the day and 4 caps of assassinate which worked well as a GDA, the white kidney bean i used at around 3 grams, and lipomyl at 4 caps also helped a little i feel. Energy levels still feel great overall which is one of the main things i love about eating more food on those high calorie days, i feel it fuels the next 3-4 workouts before energy levels drop back to being low. Leg workout video will follow sometime later today.

Tony & Paul - Workout - Legs 136 - Monday 28th May 2018

Yesterday's leg workout went great, very happy with strength levels and muscle fullness was awesome due to carbs on Sunday. Re1gn also worked great making all weights feel lighter and allowing for the same great level of focus, i had the dosing right now at 10.5 10.6 grams which is what is recommended for 2 scoops of the Fairy's Kiss Flavour.

First leg workout for June 2018, strength was great from Re1gn, energy levels that normally feel low are hidden by its stim and focus boosting effects, great workout and great pump in quads and calves. Did unilateral leg press again, sled is very sticky due to bearings gone so feels heavier than it used to.

Sunday 3rd June 2018 End of Week 7 Cutting / Fat Loss Update

Weekly weigh in.

Paul (ME) 13st 4lbs or 186 lbs (-8.5lbs in one week)

Tony 10st 0.5lbs or 140.5lbs (+1.75lbs in one week)

I am down in weight whilst Tony is up in weight but we both look leaner overall, my physique seems to have changed dramatically this week from the 8.5lbs loss. Tony is looking leaner despite being up in weight, he also has been feeling very lethargic lately, good job refeed is next sunday and then every sunday from then on, for weeks 9 and 10 and then possibly every 3rd day for weeks 11 onwards, usually do reverse into adding more lean muscle mass we tend to do the refeed days on Thursday and Sunday due to it being a 7 day week but we may change it and perform them every 3 days so if on a thursday next would be monday, then friday then tuesday then saturday then wednesday then sunday and so on, this way is different because days will keep changing but it may work more effective than every Thursday and Sunday which can be a little close together unless the Thursday one is kept but calories and carbs are kept lower to compensate for the second one on sunday.

Tony & Paul - Workout - Legs 138 - Monday 4th June 2018

Todays leg workout was hard, just going into week 8 of cutting diet and feeling it more now, overall this was the hardest workout for legs that i have had during this fat loss phase, i cannot wait for the high calorie and high carb refeed on Sunday 10th. Strength is sort of still there i did have to drop around 8-11 lbs of my front squat but was able to go for 12 reps on my second set vs 10, we both feel as though energy levels just drop after a certain amount of reps are performed with any exercise.
