Toco-8 vs Red palm oil question

I've been taking Red Palm Oil as a vitamine A end tocotrienol source. Can I replace this with Toco-8 and will that be a complete substitute? How many grams of Red Palm Oil would 1 serving of Toco-8 resemble?

Thanks!

I couldnt tell you that for sure... does the bottle have a tocotrienol amount listed?

I actually eat the raw oil by spoonfuls… I kinda like the taste, but I still take the Toco.

After investigating a bit it seems you'll a shitload of red palm oil for 1 serving of toco-8 if I calculated this right. That is if the bioavalability of the tocotrienols would be the same..

In red palm olein, which had a total tocopherol/tocotrienol content of 1260 vs 940 ppm in yellow palm olein .
------------

The total vitamin E contents in the palm oils used in this study were significantly higher (ranging from 717.8 to 817.5 mg/kg fat)
Tocotrienols were found to be the predominant compounds (about 81–84% of the total vitamin E)
