To hell with the search button or researching..

Board Supporter
Maybe its me or does it seem like there are an overwhelming number of threads asking the same redundant question over again.

Don't misunderstand me and I'm not trying to be an asshole but it is annoying trying to sift through good and bad threads finding good info on diet and training. I've noticed that after hitting the new post button. If not every thread at least every other one..It asks what compound should I use with this stack or can a 21 year old use this compound. How much test should I take and blah blah. In most cases the question has been asked before probably moments before.

There are logs posted by members about what products they used and at what dosages. Again in some cases questions that a person may have could quite possibly have been answered already. Instead of taking the time to read through them, there are many "new" posts asking what dosage should I take, can I take it with this supplement.

When will the madness end?

its not going to end as long as new people join this forum. not every single new person is going to have the common sense.(common sense aint so common is it?) i have seen an assload of stupid threads such as this before too, maybe people get tired of these as well.

WTH is frontload anyway? The best I've seen was can a use a implant gun for my fina pellets. It was done too.

**** I wouldn't call it common sense. Its right there in the sticky. FAQ-Read before posting, Playing the game, V1 & 2, and Cycles for newbies.

hey champs...
I'm 19 1/2. Do you think I can stack Nitro-tech with Ribose and M1T for good gains? Thanks.

Seriously, I think it's just the price paid for an increasigly new and young crowd here. It can be annoying, but I just try to tell myself that my first queries were probably as inane. I don't really see a solution. I guess there could be a "Mod Squad" put in to place to specifically cruise the threads and smack/delete things that don't make the cut. Or maybe a "3 strikes" rule, where if you ask something stupid 3 times you get banned. Better yet, if you ask something really dumb, you immediately get shuttled over to BB.com (and banned). I dunno. I'm just trying to accept it as part of life.

This board is growing rather quickly, thus newer, uneducated people arriving. The board just hit its all time log on mark yesterday. I guess we can consider it "growing pains" for now.

One idea would be if the PM's were available to new people, shoot an already generated PM, with a welcome, when people sign up with rules and instructions. I know it would not eliminate the problem, but it may reduce it.

By the way...do any of you know the dosing schedule for using Nolva?

One sitting in all new members' In-box when they first log in as a registered member. Board administration should be able to facilitate this quite easily.

another thing that would help would be that as older and wiser members, you could "guide" the newer members to do a search after asking a assinine question... then the mod squad could come along and delete the bs posts.. .

What we need is a Junior Mod Squad...LOL. Hey, maybe not a bad idea.

I really like B5150's idea of an "In-Box".

only let a certain amount of people join every so often, people looking to ask a stupid question would have to search. or don't allow people to start threads until they have been a member for a certain amount of time or a certain number of posts

I do agree that the stupid questions get annoying, and I've never done androgens.
Just wait till my questions come along. They'll be even dumber. :p

But, I don't think we can just start deleting stupid threads. Just seems too overboard. Now, threads about asking for sources or whatever is fine.

well we have to either lock or delete the threads that keep asking the same questions or the behavior will never change.. trust me, we have gone through this little grow stage before...

i think the members of this board think they are special or something. who cares if a person askes a reduntant question. almost every topic on here is redundant. if it offends you that a person asks a beginer question then you need to quit being an anal uptight shmuck. just because the most "popular" members don't find you topic interesting it will be deleted...ok:rolleyes:.

if i may ask, what is everyone's huge problem with someoe asking a beginner question? does it really piss you off that much because i garuntee the problem won't ever end. you guys are making an anal retentive mountain out of a mole hill.

Intelligent discussions are what most of us desire. Not deluded and repeated questions that are clearly the result of someone unwilling to look (search) around for answers. Or maybe they are so new that they don't know that, so someone invariably will simply ask them (or tell them) to do a search. Pretty harmless, makes sense, right?

Most of us are very willing to help, but we don't want to dilute this forum with rediculous banter, and question after question regarding topics which many times have been discussed ad infinitum.

It's a quality thing. There are other places you can go for repetition and "romper-room" BB'ing discussions...

I think it helps if you add something in the welcome email reminding members that there is a search function..

Also, can you drink winny? :D

Most new members come on and ask a question before they search around or do any type research. And on top of that once those "popular" members respond to them they get upset and try to insult them like a child.

I'm going to lump your response as if it were one big question...

Because this is not bobybuilding.com!

There was an agenda set forth when this site was developed. That being what milwood has laid out. IF people were to just read the rules, the stickies, and abide by them, then there would be less cluttering of the board. The SEARCH function works so well, and one can learn a great deal by using it, and doing some research. If they still haven't found their answer, then ask.

Also...yes, I do think I'm special for being a member of this board. Because I think this board is a special place. Ah ****, now I'm tearing up.<<sniff-sniff>>...I love you man! :D

Well with that.. you can take your ass back over to BB.com and stay there.. we honestly don't need you over here..

This is not the board you're looking for...
There's nothing special here - no reason for you to stay...
You can go about your business...move along....

Oh, and for the record: pissing on strangers on their turf *will NOT* make you welcome - here or anywhere!

I agree. On some of the boards I frequent (and a few that I modded at) we just deleted redundant posts after a day or so...

Or you could "pink" them as a little warning... turn their name pink lol... or create some kind of annoying popup that reminds them to search the forum before they ask a question
