Tips advice suggestions?

So Ive been training pretty hard for the past year and had great gains but the only problem I've been having is getting abs, I mean eating clean vitamins supplements the nine yards, cardio. This picture was from early July and I started bulking and now cutting! Any tips or suggestions on what or how I should be training to get my core to come out great?

Caloric deficit bro. If you truly have diet and training in check cutting shouldn't be a problem. Just lower bofyfat levels to see abs
 
hows your water retention. i had a lifting buddy a couple years ago who was 8% year round. he was a smaller dude, ~5'8 but ever had badass abs. he just chalked it up to genetics, but i always wondered if it was just water retention for him. he was a black dude too if it makes any difference. best lifting buddy ive had yet
