Does anyone know what is the tipping point at which the body shuts off endogenous testosterone production when given an exogenous supply? Is there a percentage cut off or will even a 1 part per billion drop of exogenous testosterone cause your body natural test to shut down?

Thanks!

Its a time related thing unique to every individual. If you are putting more into your body than it naturally produces, over time, it will cause the hpta to send signals to the brain to shut off that production because it doesnt need to do it anynore. This happens even to men on low dosage of TRT as little as 100mg a week. For trt, we usually see this shutdown roughly 5-10 months after beginning.

This is similar to why you have to change your workout structure every so often or the excersises that you do. The body adapts and evolves to its given circumsrances.

Now, granted that say your body manufactures 100mg a week (crude measurement for inside body, but point remains the same) and your putting in 50mg a week, it will continue to produce, but it will evolve to only producing half its normal workload.

So if your body's free testosterone level is 10 pg/ml and you exogenously raise it to 11 pg/ml, will that automatically shut off your body's natural production?

Your body seeks equilibrium. So in theory, if you normally have 10, and add 1 ..... Your body will cut back production by one.
HOWEVER ... This is not exact, and can vary case by case, and by individual. Your body can respond to ourside stimuli however it likes. ...And it will.

Exactly at the point where the cycle becomes worthwhile and not pointless.
