time off

hey guys. so i hurt my shoulder in flag football game yesterday. nothing serious just a little sore. is it better for me to take a couple days off and just let it recover or just work through it. i have heard that taking a week off can really improve your gains once you get back in the gym so im thinking this is a good time to try it. just wondering your guys opinion on what i should do
 
If you are hurt give yourself a few days off to heal.

If you don't you risk injuring yourself further/more seriously.

And that will definitely hurt your gains....
 
A week off definitely doesn't ever hurt although during my week off my body is always sore/hurts more than days after lifting.
