I was looking into purchasing one of these devices, or something similar for recovery purposes. I already foam roll and stretch, but looking for that extra edge in recovery. Does anyone have experience with the product below or with a similar one. The only thing that has stopped me from puling the trigger already is the reviews I've read states the product is very loud. I would trust a forum member though versus random reviewers.

I've had a chiropractor use one on me, but don't think it was this exact one. It was fairly loud and I thought was used more for getting through tough knots as opposed to just normal massage techniques.
