Dont know if this question fits in this thread but i figure you guys would probobly know best. A buddy of mine was diagnosed with hypothroidism and perscribed Thyroxine (T3/T4). If i was to take the pills short term 3 wks just to loose that extra few lbs before summer, what possible side effects might i encounter. Do you think this is a good idea. i know supplement companies sell Guggulsterones which i believe is supposed to be like T3. any imput would be appreciated.

SEARCH button bro...plenty of people used t3 for weight loss myself included..ders a few threads on here givin dosages, side effects, etc.

Thyroxine is T4, Triiodothyronine is T3.

There are plenty of people using T3 and T4, but searching for them is tricky b/c the AM.com search engine won't search for anything under 3 or 4 letters, and most people don't refer to T3 and T4 as triiodothryonine and thyroxine.

So, when you search, maybe search for "cutting" and "t4" or something like that.

Also, google the sides. T4 is pretty damn mild.

True, but that's also due to the fact Triiodothyronine(T3) has (4x) the Hormonal strength of Thyroxine(T4).

It's a good way to lose weight if you know what you're doing, and equally a good way to end up in the E.R. if you don't.
