Three day split routine

I posted this in anabolics and got 0 help hopefully I can get some feedback here. So here's my stats I'm 32 5'5 and 155lbs I've been lifting about 4 years now. I used to do a 5 day routine back, biceps, legs & shoulders, chest,Triceps. Basically one muscle group a day. Now I have a 2 month old and a 4 year old so getting to the gym is harder. I currently do a three day routine Monday back biceps, wensday chest Triceps, and Friday sholders and legs. I'm starting epi soon and wondering if the three day routine is gonna cut it. I know this isn't really the place for ph info but I feel my question is more routine than anything. I'm haveing to work out at home more to which hurts even more. My main goals right now is to increase my strength and decrease my body fat. Any thoughts would be greatly appriciated.

Assuming you can get 2 sessions of HIIT style cardio in per week, I see no reason why you can't increase strength while improving body comp on only 3 days of resistance training per week. Just might want to rethink your muscle group pairing go with movement pairings.

Congrats on the new child

Thanks for the response Bro. I did forget to mention I will be running a mile to a mile and a half before each lifting session. What would u think would be a better muscle group pairing? I was considering back, chest bis, tris and then shoulders, legs. What do u recommend?

I'm a big fan of training movements.

Horizontal push/pull (bench press and rows)
Lower body
Vertical push/pulls (military press and pull ups)
