Thoughts on this new test booster?

Considering a new test boosting supplement outside of my usual gotos. Was interested in the posted in the pic due to the pedalium murex and it being a more effective tribulus. Thoughts? I have zero experience with Paederia Foetida and Pedallium Murex. I think a final verdict on this product, which otherwise looks pretty good to me, is going to weigh heavily on the value of those two ingredients.

Rest of the formula looks pretty solid. The price is a bit high for me though considering other similar options, but if I was feeling super curious on Permatest in a formulation I don't think it would be bad to try, but again I don't know a ton personally about that extract.

While I love Steve and his companies and support them 100%, as the above poster says, why have a "supplement" forum if we don't discuss about other products. This is not SNS or CEL forum section, it's the supplement forum.

I think this discussion would go in a better direction if the title was changed, asking about these TWO ingredients not found in other products.

Otherwise it's my booster vs yours thread in many eyes.

Actually, in his case, it likely had more to do with the similarities to the supplements facts panel to Optimize-T and M-Test than it does to trying to support anything related to me. Because as a Strong Supplement Shop representative, they would generally want him to recommend certain products from brands they push first, but there are no similarities in those and what the person posted about.

That product has similarities to Optimize-T and M-Test, so I think his thought was that you could take either one for a lot less than, or possibly take both for the same price you're seeing that sold at.

If he posts about SNS or CEL products, its because he likes SNS and CEL products and is trying to help people. Strong Supplement Shop doesn't try to push SNS or CEL products, so his opinions on that would be his own, not something they're trying to get him to.

There's been some people that said since that product came out that they felt like it knocked off our product - and my reply has been that I don't view things that way. I don't complain about stuff like that. I think they may have gotten an idea for a good base part of the product from ours, but I take that as a compliment, and if that was the case, they respectfully left a couple of great ingredients out that we use and they added a couple of ingredients to theirs that I wouldn't have been interested in adding to one anyway so that distinguishes them.

I just wanted to explain that because I feel there's a good chance that's why he had made the suggestion he did.

Actually, I think the whole thing got egged on by a troll with his first post being to make a smart remark trying to incite drama.

@LeanEngineer is a Strong Supplement Shop rep. He suggests SNS and CEL products sometimes because he likes them, but he isn't incentivized by Strong in any way to mention SNS & CEL products. We aren't brands that Strong pushes. If he posts products by us that he likes, its because he likes them.

If anything, there's other products that Strong would probably prefer he recommend more than SNS & CEL, but in this case, I feel like he suggested those based on liking them and the similarities to the formula being discussed.

I recommend Innovapharm more than anyone else on AM, so in my eyes its definitely not a us vs. them thing.

They're a great company and I trust their quality and I use their Recovery EAA product is the only EAA product I've used for years.

Innovapharm is a brand that does a lot with brick and mortars and they intentionally try to keep their online pricing from going too low in an effort to support them.

I think the main issue here is that one could stack Optimize-T and M-Test for the average selling price of that product.

my thoughts on the product and why i didnt buy it are that it has some interesting innovation going on, but it's a tall pricepoint and there wasnt any effort made by the company to sell me on those ingredients. To be clear, i would need to feel like there is a good chance they set the formula apart from better-priced alternatives. there are situations where a company has an awesome idea, but it has to cost alot and they put it out anyway and give people a chance. is that the case here? well... the company has alot of expensive products. i did, however, buy their strange "Poppi Pump,"

Innovapharm just seems like they aren’t marketing to that crowd or focused on writing huge in depth explanations, but I’ve enjoyed every product from them I’ve tried and all their formulas look pretty good. I particularly like their Recover EAA and rotate through their variety of flavors.

Agreed. Honestly, most brands don't do in depth write ups or descriptions anymore. It's a combination of being cautious and also in 99% of people not caring about or even reading in depth explanations anymore.

An example - if you look at our website and all the in depth write ups, one of the common feedbacks I get is that some people don't like our website because there's too much information and not enough pictures. And that people think that write ups and informational type product pages look old and outdated.

So I can totally understand why brands don't go into depth about ingredients. I do also understand some people wanting them to, but its the real minority now days. A brand really has to pick a direction that is going to appeal to its customer base and know that by doing so, there are going to be some people or types of customers they aren't going to appeal to bc of it.

In Innovapharm's case, a lot of their business is through brick and mortars and that isn't the crowd or customer base that wants in depth write ups.

I'm not particularly big on the 2 ingredients that people are discussing in there, they aren't ones I'd necessarily use in formulas myself, but I think they did a good job differentiating the formula by including them.

My perspective on things is that whether I like everything about every product a company makes or not, I still respect the companies that focus on building their businesses without attacking or trying to tear down others, and especially brands that I trust to meet label claims, and Innovapharm is a good example of both.

I use their Recover EAA and its been my go to EAA for years, and I'll probably continue to until we come out with our own, and I still might after that from time to time bc I doubt we will do a tea flavor bc its not that popular of a flavor, but I absolutely love theirs.

I honestly rotate between Innova Cissus and SNS Cissus Always had great experience with them so will still use them. I agree with others, their Recover EAA is great. It's still imo the most loaded profile available. Like A Pro's new V2 still doesn't match imo. Dosing and flavoring, that EAA should go nowhere and always be available. Love that Lemon Lime Slushy!!!

The Recover EAA Lime Slushy is good. If you ever try the Lemon Iced Tea flavor, mix a half scoop or scoop of each together.

Theres a company around that dropped a product called magnitropin that contained “1.45g PAEDERIA FOETIDA EXTRACT: Paederia foetida is a plant that goes by various names, including Chinese fever vine, and is the best test booster.” -Myokems write up. Kinda sounds as if Donald Pump wrote this “It was the bes tes booster, I said no no, but truly it was the bes!”

Here’s another snippet from Stack3d on the same extract “Paederia Foetida Extract (20:1): Studies have shown this herb to have numerous benefits, including its use in Ayurvedic medicine as a sexual stimulant, and having a positive effect on sperm production and physical strength. Increases in lean body mass were also observed in clinical studies as well.”

The other ingredient I remember seeing and it took me a second but it’s in an DS product “Activate Xtreme additionally contains an herb called pedalium murex, which has been used traditionally in India where it is believed to have aphrodisiac qualities.* This belief appears to have some merit, after a recent rodent study indicated that pedalium may possess some aphrodisiac qualities as a rejuvenative tonic.* This same study also demonstrated a sizeable increase in testosterone in the rodents – an effect that persisted for several days even after cessation of the extract.*”-AX write up. TLDR:

Test XL contains 100mg of Paederia foetida extract, while Magnitropin had 1.45g of the same plant, maybe different extraction. Paederia foetida is noted for its benefits in boosting testosterone, sexual health, sperm production, and lean body mass. Pedalium murex, another ingredient found in products like Activate Xtreme and Test Rx, is known for its aphrodisiac properties, testosterone-boosting effects, and potential to increase libido and body weight. Both ingredients are included in proprietary blends, making direct dosage comparisons difficult. Perma test(Pedalium murex extract) dosage is 300mgs. The comparison is to older formulations.

Edit: I wanted to share what info I could find on these two ingredients for anyone curious about them. I got a bit nostalgic seeing the two extracts.

Innovapharm is a good brand. That price just seems way to hefty man for a 30 days supply natural test booster. On their site it’s going for $75 which imo is ridiculous

I don't care what the ingredients are $75 for a test booster is excessive. You can get this at nutricartel and with discounts/discount codes/sales you can get the price down to $60 a bottle. This is still high but will at least save you $30-45 if you buy 2-3 bottles.

I had taken your post as agreeing with him that the price was too high and trying to help anyone wanting to try it save money.

That's why I had posted my post - I'm not sure why he had taken it like you said something negative, but I'd wanted to point out that I didn't think it was meant that way at all, and I never want to see AM lose long time members bc of things like that.

I'm sorry that things like this have caused you to not like it here or come here as much anymore.

I wish that wasn't the case, but I can understand. The forum has lost a lot of really good posters because of negativity. I can think of 2 that left for similar reasons and probably never will post again, and I can think of another 2 that just recently started back posting some but probably never will as much as they used to.

I've been here for almost 20 years and I've always loved helping people and I enjoy the science and the ingredients.
But we went through a spell of negativity for months here where it felt like it was just constant negativity, people being mean spirited, and trying to start drama than it was actual supplement discussion.

The Admin cracked down on it a few weeks ago and you can tell because there's been more actual supplement discussion than there had been in awhile, and some of the members that had stopped posting bc of it have started back, at least some.

I hope it continues back on the right track and I hope that you will at least continue to read here, and post when you feel like it.

MA Labs Prosynthesis-17 and Prosynthesis-Build are more loaded EEA products. Both are very complete products. You should check them out if you haven’t already?
