MMAjunkie.com (Invalid Link Removed) today received the official reported salaries from Saturday’s “EliteXC: Street Certified” event. Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson, the night’s main-event winner, earned the highest the biggest payout at $175,000, and his opponent, David “Tank” Abbott, earned $126,000.

The event took place at the sold-out BankUnited Center at the University of Miami in Florida. The main card aired on Showtime.

The salaries were acquired from the Florida State Boxing Commission. They ranged from just $1 to $175,000.

The total disclosed payroll for the event was $479,001.

* Kevin Ferguson ($175,000) def. David Abbott ($126,000)
* Antonio Silva ($80,000) def. Ricco Rodriguez ($20,000)
* Scott Smith ($12,000) def. Kyle Noke ($3,000)
* Yves Edwards ($6,000) def. Edson Berto ($6,000)
* Brett Rogers ($4,000) def. James Thompson ($25,000)
* Rafael Feijao ($6,000) def. John Doyle ($2,5O0)
* Yosmany Cabezas ($2,000) def. Jon Kirk ($2,500)
* Dave Herman ($1,500) def. Mario Rinaldi ($2,000)
* Eric Bradley ($1,000) def. Mikey Gomez ($1,500)
* Lorenzo Borgomeo ($1,000) def. Mike Bernhard ($1,500)
* Moyses Gabin ($1)* def. Jirka Hlavati ($500)

* — Yes, Gabin earned just $1. We confirmed the amount with the FBAC, though MMAjunkie.com has been unable to confirm why the amount was so low.

Now, the usual disclaimer: the figures do not include deductions for items such as insurance, licenses and taxes. Additionally, the figures do not include money paid by sponsors, which can oftentimes be a substantial portion of a fighter’s income. In other words, these are simply base salaries reported to the FSBC and do not represent the total amounts earned by each fighter.

There is some major bullsh1t here:

Why did that guy get paid $1?

$500 to fight for a semi-major promotion????

Tank made more than Bigfoot and Ricco combined? :wtf:

@ 5-0, Brett Rogers got paid less than 1/5 the salary of the man he KO'd brutally? I try to like Thompson b/c he's funny, but he's just not good.

Edwards made only $6G to fight Berto???? Berto was going to make twice as much as him Yves for the win???? I know Edwards has had a dry spell, but 3G/3G is ridiculous. I hope they cut him a huge check in the locker room for one of the best KOs I've ever seen.

I didn't hate Kimbo before, but after seeing those #s, I might start to. Aside from Brock, he must be the highest paid fighter with that little experience in history. He has potential, and he's smart to take the $, but they are dumb for giving it to him. I hope he fights Buentello, so we can see what he's capable of.

Yeah, it's crazy. It's all about a name. Is Brett Rogers a bigger name than James Thompson? Umm no. JT's a joke these days though. Tank made 126k for 43 s of nothing. He's got a name that sells.

Pretty ridiculous. Kimbo deserves that much though, he's making them bank. They should give 50g's of Tank's money to Yves and Brett Rogers.

I heard the following rumors for the April show, can anyone confirm:

Scott Smith vs Lawler
Yves vs KJ Noons
Semtex vs TBA

p.s. Nuthuggers like Jas are the reason JT makes that kind of loot.

I've heard Noons-Yves as well. I thought Lawler was lined up to fight someone else, but can't remember.

Pulling out "nuthuggers", huh? I guess that's why you're the Chappelle of AM  I'll admit that back in the day I thought that JT had potential to be entertaining, but he blows these days. Getting KOed by everyone.

I mean you were on JT's nuts, I realize it was at least partially a joke, but still. That's worse than my Terry Martin BS. Lawler was gonna fight Hose, but Baroni is taking his place and supposedly Lawler is gonna fight Smith which will be a month and a half after the Baroni/Hose match. I really want Semtex to beat up one of these dudes(keep in mind they do catch weights and sh*t and Semtex can fight 160-70): Noons, Alvarez, Shields. Doesn't really matter either way someone's gettin knocked out.

The JT love was a total joke whereas you really loved Terry Martin and thought he was legit. As a Frye fan, I'm really embarrassed that JT beat him

Shields would be the toughest fight there for sure. I'm really not that familiar with him, but he seems to have a nasty ground game.

That's true about Martin. Shields is a friggin octopuss, grounds you, mounts you, and then pounds you. Semtex would probably lose, but hopefully he'd fire a beautiful knee up the pipe when Shields shoots in. I think I'm gonna make myself a Semtex t-shirt.

The guy who got paid a dollar got paid that because he is on contract with a local promoter and was paid by him and not elitexc.

Sure Yves got paid crap. But honestly who were the people there to see? Not sure why Thompson got as much as he did but good for him. Fighters sign the contracts and are well aware what they are getting paid so if they are willing to fight for that then so be it. I do think it's ludricous that they would fight for those amounts but who knows what the locker room bonuses and otehr enitcements are. I think $10k min to show is not unreasonable for this level of comp though.
