I keep reading stories about Marines taking heavy fire in the streets of Iraqi cities - and their commanders wont let them return fire...
Our guys are getting killed man...this is a war. No time for pussyfooting around. No room for political BS. I know we have to do everything we can to spare innocent life, but what about our own guys??

This is hindering their progress and costing lives.

Right, but you see whats happening. They're making it look like Iraq has a chance of kicking the US's ass. This is not true. The US is nitpicking targets, hoping to save as many civilian lives as possible. If that was their plan, they should have not have gone in the first place.
When those AH64s got shot down today, they made it look like these machines arent what they're cracked up to be. Thats really not true. Bomb this **** out of the target, then send in the choppers.
They even named this campaign "Iraqi Freedom" - which was also an error in my opinion, making everyone thing that innocents would be spared. Other countries are starting to think the US military isnt what its cracked up to be.
They can whip ass and whip it fast. That's what they should do. Dont **** with the lives of American troops.
Now I hear that Russia is selling Iraq weapons...dont know how true that is...but oh ****. I just have a real bad feeling that the proverbial **** is going to hit the fan and splatter all over the planet.

don't think it was shot down they are saying it was mechanic problems.. ie the pilots are cussing the mechanics for that one..
