the answer is a resounding "no"...some reversal is possible (though not common), but it generally requires a multifaceted approach executed over several months or years.I'm pretty sure my cycle of PP has thinned my hair. Is there anything I can take temporarily to permanently cure this?

more than likely, it will continue to thin. if you have the gene and you dont take relatively drastic measures to treat it, you will keep losing.
it's the same thing. androgenic hair LOSS happens as a result of the hair follicle being damaged by an androgen...the first symptom is a reduction in shaft diameter. later, the hairs get baby-fine and fall out. When I say thinning, I mean the diameter of the hair is shrinking, do you mean the same, or amt of hair on my head?
If I started losing hair, I'd hit the propecia.
LOL...yikes that is a piss-poor explanation.I got thinned hair from pp too. Mine got a little thinner...especially around the beginning of my hairline. A couple months after post cycle therapy it was thickening back up. I've heard that if you have the gene then it will just have started thinning much earler. If not though, it was just thin because you have all that excess test. As you probably know, the testosterone that attacks your hair follicles is called DHT. If you're not prone to it, then once you get off cycle then the DHT will stop attacking your hairline and it will come back. I think this is mostly a theory and not actually PROVEN, but it seems to have worked that way for me. So give it a couple months and see what happens. I wouldn't start worrying until then.

if all a person's hair did was THIN (and not shed or recede) during a cycle, and the cycle is short, then it is possible that those hairs didnt die and will thicken back up once the person is back in their nominal, lower-androgen state.
wow, just occurred to me that this is an area where short cycles can shine...hair follicle degradation generally takes a little while to happen.
*sigh* if you review my previous posts on the topic, you'll see that i have a very solid grasp on MPB causation and treatment...Yeah yours was awesome. If it was a short cycle it might grow back. The end. Haha. j/k :toofunny:

it was a PP cycle for chrissakes. he barely had any circulating testosterone at all. you couldnt have been more incorrect, irrelevant or misinformed. please just let the adults talk.
sweet jesus.Well I was telling from experience. I realize that I am 22. But I feel that an experienced person is more likely to be able to answer his question then someone who is older than I am....
...And if it wasn't increased test from the PP then what do you think it was? The liver support?
sweet jesus.
WHEN YOU TAKE (STRONG) STEROIDS YOUR BODY ALMOST ENTIRELY STOPS PRODUCING ITS OWN TESTOSTERONE. DHT IS NOT THE REASON YOU GET HAIRLOSS FROM PHERA-PLEX. PHERA-PLEX OR ANY OTHER 5A-REDUCED ANDROGEN (ANADROL, MASTERON, WINNY, 1-TEST, M1T, ETC ETC) HAS POTENTIAL TO BIND TO THE ANDROGEN RECEPTORS IN THE SCALP AND DEGRADE THE FOLLICLE.
