AH is no joke. Mix-ins are crazy big, and base is very good. I have yet to see bad reviews from people who pick it up. Seems to be a hit and something i will order up once my stash dwindles down.

Ill be in your old neck of the woods this weekend. Around Oakland / West Milfflin/ Mt Lebanon

I made the mistake of taking a big bite of a scoop that just came from the freezer. Hurt when I bit down on a massive chunk of frozen buttercake.

Milk and cookies has even larger chunks but are softer haha

I won't have time for that kind of trip since I have to do thanksgiving with my moms side Monday and dads Thursday and in between go to my hunting camp and prep. Then wedding the next weekend.

Xmas time might be possible tho

i hear you... I'm not much of a sausage guy myself either. ould much prefer a steak or just plain old meat on the bone. have had a few good pork shoulders here tho too. the variety in germany is unrealistically low though.

wienershnitzel + potato dumpling
pork shoulder/knuckle + potato dumpling
various sausages + potato (all the sausages taste the same)
thats 90% of the menu at EVERY german restaurant

Do you like Cannoli's? Do you like Mascarpone in Tiarmisu? Do you like a very sweet and rich cream cheese based ice cream? If you said yes to all of those buy this right away. On top of an incredible dense base that has the consistency of Gelato Fiasco's famous gelato. The addition of the salty pistachio's and a slight caramel inclusion in the decadent base puts the icing on this cake. Hands down one of Gelato Fiasco's best offerings on their line.

Grade: A

I had the Handels CC - Loved it!! It has little bits that are kind of like soft krispies.

Defintely the best cotton candy I have tried...
CC rankings are:
1)Handels
2) BnJ
3) Walmart/Coldstone (taste identical - srs)
 
BnJ Cotton Candy was god awful. there is a reason it never sold and was on shelves forever.
i sampled cotton candy last time i was at handels (hence why i told you to buy it)
stuff is ridiculous. cant wait to pint smash it.

Overall this is an ok pint. If you enjoy a nice mint ice cream, the base is exactly what you are looking for. it is not overpowering, but provides a great mint flavor and refreshing brown sugar aftertaste. The brown sugar could of been stronger, but the chocolate chip pieces helped this grade even though there were not many at all. . I personally would not rescoop this pint. Again I am not a huge mint fan so take that with a grain of salt. For those who enjoy mint It may be worth a shot, but this was very basic. I personally would opt for their Mint Cookie Sandwich "Mintimalism"

Overall a good pint for a true chocolate lover. If I had more cake pieces I would of gave this a better score. While there was a lack of cake pieces, the swirl was far from weak. This reminded me of eating chocolate therapy from ben and jerry's without the cookies and added cake pieces. With a very unique chocolate base, and a killer fudge swirl that alone gives this a decent score. Between the Mint and this one, I would give this one the edge.

I had the SP with marshmallow and it was meh the pecan from reviews is an upgrade would suggest those for Jenis

Overall for a mid-range pumpkin ice cream this will fix your sweet tooth, especially if you can get Perry's in your area. Do I consider this a premium top 3 purchase for a pumpkin ice cream? No, but I would definitely rescoop this if you are a pumpkin lover such as myself. My only gripe to this was more pie crust pieces and a stronger taste to them. The base really overtakes the flavoring of the pie crust pieces which is why I knock off a few points. The Whipped Cream ice cream swirl did a fantastic job of pairing with a dense pumpkin puree flavored base. Give the pie pieces a bit more flavor (Cinnamon or Sugar), and include more of them (got maybe 10-12 total pieces in the whole quart) and this would be an A grade flavor.

Grade: B
 
good review on perrys. Solid company comparable to turkey hill IMO, beter then breyers, not as creamy as edys though. I still like turkey hill for average macros and quart sized ice cream

TH for their swirl > Perry's IMO
Perry's base was much better, but i must of got unlucky with the pie crust pieces i saw a few others that were loaded.
Win some , lose some. The quality of the ice cream >> TH pumpkin base. Only reason people go bonkers over TH is because of the thick swirl which over takes the base.
 
Gonna be real, I crushed a box of mint/choc skinny cow cones this week lol.

It was free, and i don't mind them tbh.
Not "ice cream" by any means but hits my sweet tooth.

This was a score from the first bite to the last. Being someone who loves cookie dough this was a must to pick up and scoop.

The Rice Krispies sounds amazing. The coffee seems too similar to other ones they already have.
 
Ben & Jerry's has never used a Vanilla Cream Swirl ever in their ice cream offerings.
They have had espresso fudge chunks (coffee Coffee Buzz Buzz) Close but not the same. ((Chips in the New flavor if made))
