7-Eleven Fudge Marshmallow Ice Cream

When you combine a very solid base with two great compliments you piece together a fantastic ice cream offering. The "Cocoa" labeled base took me by surprise with flavor as I would rank it up there as a premium chocolate base. This is no Jeni's do not get me wrong, but the sheer amount of richness in the chocolate is great. The Fudge ribbon packs a turkey hill like swirl that has a bold hershey chocolate syrup flavor. The marshmallow swirl is very light in texture, and has a nice creamy compliment to the bombardment of chocolate. If you are a Chocolate lover who enjoys marshmallow look no further. This brought me back to my campfire days of melting marshmallow's between two hershey chocolate bar's.

Grade: B+

I am going to scoop the 7-11 Ban Cream Pie either this weekend or next weekend. Based on your experience with 7-11 pints so far would you buy anymore to try, Smores perhaps?

If you go to 7-11 grab B&J Nutty Caramel Swirl, especially if you like Snickers. One of my favorites.

This is the kind of info I need!!! Love Snickers lol. I'm going to see how the Ban Cream Pie is first and maybe scoop one or two more mid-October if I make it back to the US.

Edit: I went to a 7-11 in Canada the other day near the border just to check if they carried them and ..... Nope! This country blows!
Americans please protect us from the terrorists, they hate sugar.

I have only had one hard to judge
I don't have a 7-11 by me closest is over 2.5-3 hours away
Place did not have Smores (told you that before)

Yes I know, but my question was would you consider buying any pints from the brand in the future (whenever that may be) but nvm I will make up my mind based on my experience of Banana Cream Pie.

You reviewed 2 on ICI forums ( Double Cookie Dough - B & Fudge Marshmallow - B+)....brb going to the eye doctor to adjust my prescription ;)

i have not even tried 1/4 of the line, i am not going to judge a book by its cover before getting into more flavors. Let me crack a few more of these pints before i make my final decision/say.

Thats like going to Ben&Jerries and trying a few flavors before saying if the brand is good or not. Too many different options, too many different people with different taste buds.

I know PBI loves the banana cream pie, but a few others gave it bad reviews. If i had that first and did not like it then i may not suggest the 7-11, but again time will tell. Since it is raved the best i am saving it for last. Which makes me want to pick up Banana Cream Pie from handels to compare to it.

I thought halo top vanilla was good. Just imo

eh..
You tried Graeters? that is phenomenal for a vanilla.
Halo Top was chalky and bland IMO, but again your eating a high protein and 60-70 kcal serving ice cream. Can't expect it to taste awesome or compare it to a sugar laced real deal full fat butterfat ice cream haha

I have never tried Halo so no idea how that tastes. But I did have a high protein, lower cal ice cream a few years ago called YoPro. Although it was okay tasting I would think you are better off making homemade protein ice cream. You are not going to be able to duplicate most legit ice creams.

I read a review of a Pumpkin ice cream on OSS. At the end he listed his top 5 PP flavours and it is pretty interesting...

Talenti Pumpkin Pie, Homemade Brand Pumpkin Pie, Ben & Jerry's Pumpkin Cheesecake, Turkey Hill Pumpkin Pie and then Stewart's

if its close to coldstone its F'in Epic
Very heavy on the pumpkin pie spices and a good libby's pumpkin aftertaste. a top 3 pumpkin flavor of mine.
Handles being #1, and Jeni's #2.

Then again they do have some great things you can mix with it too, but as a stand alone its pretty damn good.

I don't think ownership is the same but you are definitely right in terms of the concept, most of the products & ingredients etc

You can't even compare graeters to halo... One is low cal the other is a calorie bomb.

For what it is, halo is spectacular.

NYC people: Van Leeuwen vegan ice cream > Graeter's. Trust. Unless you're a mix-in whore, then just go to Ample Hills, where it's damn near 50/50 mix-ins to ice cream.

Steve's Whoopie Pies & Sweet Cream Ice Cream

I would be mistaken to say this was not a home run. From first bite to last bite I was surprised at how well Steve's flavored a Whoopie Pie in ice cream form. I could honestly say they could call this Chocolate Buttercream Cookie Sandwich. Due to how thick and dense the ice cream and mix-ins are it almost seemed like a cookie more than a whoopie pie. When I think of a whoopie pie i think of it being much softer in texture that melts in your mouth compared to cream filled cookie. I have seen reviews where people got next to nothing mix-in wise in this offering, but mine was the complete opposite experience. I would rescoop this in a second! Head to Whole Foods or your local Co-Op and buy this now

Grade: A+

7-11 Brand: Yum! Banana Cream Pie

Even since The Solution posted pics of 7-11 brand pints he picked up I was skeptical. Up to that point I didn't even know 7-11 they had their own brand, but didn't have high expectations being a convenience store.
After reading a couple of reviews I decided to try one. I grabbed Banana Cream Pie on my way back from Buffalo a few weeks ago.

The base has a nice banana flavour and is super creamy. 7-11 did a great job of replicating the banana cream pie flavour, it's pretty authentic imo. The pie crust pieces are soft and chewy. There is a decent amount but as always I want more! If there was more mix-ins it would be an A, but a solid B+ nonetheless.

Good to hear. saving that one for last!!!

Debating whether to try s'mores or that caramel nut flavour that is supposed to be like Snickers.
I'm sitting on over a dozen pints right now so I really should hold off.

Plus last night I get home to a voicemail from Marble Slab - Pumpkin Cheesecake is ready to scoop. Fuk!

I was referring to this post. I missed the BnJ part so will have to look next time

PB World
oatmeal cookie chunk
What a Cluster/ClusterFluff

Still remain the GOAT top 3 IMO
Everything But the shortly behind because i am a mix-in junkie.

What a Cluster might be my all-time favorite. I thought Candy Bar Pie was great while it lasted too.

Have to agree with CBP, possibly my #5 favorite, tough to tell could go many ways with what is out there and what the individual likes
I wish they made Coconut 7 layer in pints. that was a very good flavor if you like coconut.

My top 5 BnJ list:
1) PB World
2) PB cookie core
3) Candy Bar Pie
4) Cinnabuns
5) PB Half Bsked

Did not like Clusterfluff/what a cluster?
You never had Oatmeal Cookie Chunk did you?

I have never tried either of those. I do have cotton candy and Boston cream pie in my freezer though.

That tops CnC, & Buckeye? Son...

Yup! I like it better than buckeye, serious. To be fair i have only tried a sample of the CnC at the scoop shop in OH, never a full pint. But Bourbon Pecan Chip beats out Choc Shoppe Ultimate Oreo imo.

I love the huge chocolate chunks and copious amounts of nuts in the Graeter's BPCC. As I have said before, calling them chips is pretty misleading for first time scoopers lol.

I feel like caramel will be the larger flavour hit and an undertone of a Belgian ale flavour (could be anything, but i assume they will try to intelligently pair something with the caramel.

I just wish the pint could get me drunk too ;)
