Brawn
Compared to monday I continue to feel rest times diminshed and my recovery better.
It may of also helped I ate about 2 pounds of steak last night with this steakhouse meal and was sweating absolute buckets. Got to love all that sodium and having a MASSIVE pump. Gonna hold on pics to let all the sodium from the cheat meal reside.

@ The Solution you should take some time to publish a cookbook and get it on Amazon I would buy it.

113 Page document on my desktop of recipes buddy. I keep adding to it :)

Off Day
1 Cap with meal 1, 1 cap with last meal
The Devil Wears Prada concert tonight, followed up by a 7 AM client tomorrow. Lets hope I can hear lol
Sending weekly update to coach, lets see what he has to say about physique and recomp effects.

Looks like it's going well for you :D.

Weight has dropped a touch since starting the Brawn. Mirror wise I am not seeing a much harder or recomping effect so far.
The only thing I can really attribute so far is an increase in recovery and performance during training, besides that I have not seen too much more. This week I will try and push for some PR's on my top sets and see what I get.

Brawn
Crushed this session.
375 x 5 is not a PR, but it hit my 90% 5RM Max for that set which is exactly how the program was written up.
Next 4 weeks I will just have to turn it up and see how much more I can load up with proper form

Protein Synthesis --> Don't really know if I can relate anything to Brawn and this
Recovery/Endurance --> Biggest aspect so far
Recomp effect --> not much seen in the mirror even on 2 caps a day

Bro this is one of the best/most detailed logs I've ever seen.

My only question is, who the hell is making this food for you?!? And if it is you, how the hell do you have the time/energy to make these ridiculous food items? Lol

It sure as hell aint dropping from planes in cargo boxes brother.
It is not very hard to duplicate a lot of the things I make or buy. Want ice cream, go buy it, want a baked good look up a recipe and bake it. Want a stirfry, find a recipe and make it.. It is actually pretty damn easy to be honest.

When Takeout referes to mostly chain restaurants in erie. HELL NO

Bob u have crazy good chains though. Not healthy stuff but can't beat chick fila Steak 'n Shake and the corral for a lil cheat day action

never been to either Chick Fil A or Steak and Shake.
Quite frankly don't plan on it either. Chains are simply overprice and under quality places to eat. Hence why i don't eat out much. its like what $10 for a chick fil a sandwich, a side, and a drink? Hell I can get over 6 pounds of chicken for that price!

Golden Corral LOL.. oh god.. They have food sit on their lines for days.. their expiration life is over 7-10 days they can keep that food out there and up to proper temp.. Makes you really question how good that stuff really is, or how long it has been sitting.

Trust.. I know people whom have worked there. They would serve food that is 3-4 days old , and just re-heat it. Absolutely disgusting.

Never knew about the food sitting around there. Damn. Guess I won't b stopping there next time through Erie

Once you get a Serv Safe certificate and study food prep and how restaurants are run. It opens your eyes to the food industry big time..
This way you know shelf life on almost anything sold in restaurants, how long its good for, cooking temps, safety practice etc.. Yeah its a BIG time eye opener. Most fast food places are absolutely ridiculous with some things and how long they can keep them.. Makes you question what you are really eating.

Off Day
1 Cap with meal 1 and last meal

Honestly I am not seeing any recomp changes even at 2 caps a day. I actually look a bit watery compared to before the run. No changes in diet have been made this entire go about, and I have not changed any other factors (cardio is still the same).

Only thing I am seeing is a change in endurance/performance, that is about it. I got over 10 days or so left judging off the caps. Maybe something drastic will change then.

Brawn
Maybe a week left, if that. besides me going on and on about the recovery that is the only aspect I am seeing that lives up to the claims of this product. No changes in body composition, and I really can't say or dictate a 200% increase in muscle protein synthesis which is far from likely. If so there would be an increased P-Ratio and improvements in bodycomp, which I am not seeing. We will see if something drastic happens in the last few days.

BPS Brawn Final Review

Claims

Increase muscle protein synthesis by over 200%*
Reduce cortisol and help manage stress
Boost strength, power, and endurance*
Enhance metabolic rate and fat loss*
Fight inflammation and promote recovery

What I experienced

- Increase in Muscle Protein Synthesis by 200%

o This I really cannot tell. While running the bottle its very hard to note this regardless of how well you know your nutrition. To comment on this would be next to impossible. I kept my calories & macros the same the entire run so that way there would be no skewing of final feedback.

- Reduce Cortisol and Manage Stress

o Throughout the log I never felt this was changed. I tried to resume my normal routine and work flow the entire process of the bottle. I tend to be very laid back in general so that did not change. Hard to note this one as well.

- Boost Strength, power and Endurance

o This is the biggest note from Brawn. The endurance factor is very present even into the first week of the product. You will notice less rest between sets, and being able to swing from exercise to exercise with less rest. I also found throwing in extra intensity techniques (dropsets, rest pause sets, accumulation, and super/tri sets were easier to fatigue the muscles due to enhanced recovery). Overall strength maybe a touch higher after the run, but I did not max my big 3 during the process.

- Enhance Metabolic rate and fatloss

o During my run I did not get any harder or lean up. I kept my calories the same and did not notice a recomp effect at all. Actually I do not look as lean as before the run. I cannot attribute anything to Brawn with a recomp effect during my run. Perhaps I was a non-responder to this aspect? It is really hard to say, but the pictures don’t lie I don’t look any better.

- Fight Inflammation and Promote Recovery

o Could not agree more here. Recovery from a day to day basis was great the entire log. DOMS felt the same , so that was not changed. Even throwing in extra intensity techniques I could really see my recovery and endurance rise. This is hands down the best aspect of the product and it makes you train much harder and quicker. I was able to blast out some top sets of squats with a minute rest. Where sometimes it use to be 2-3 minutes between very heavy sets.

- Would I recommend?

o I personally would not suggest picking this up. While I 100% agree the recovery and performance aspect are on par, everything else I did not pick up on even with a double dose and above scientific research dosing. Just like with HMB-FA I just really found a glorified endurance product. If I would of saw some kind of recomp effect included then yes I would of suggested this one. Overall I enjoyed the performance benefits, but besides that I did not get a whole lot more.

- I want to thank the crew at BPS for allowing me to run and log this product with 100% honesty.

As always, a great log. I have yet to try laxogenin, looks like I'll be waiting a longer.

With all my logs comes 100% honesty. Weather that is good or bad I do not want to sugarcoat anything to the company or about the product. In the supplement industry we all don't respond 100% to every product we take. Therefore I want to make sure everyone sees my stance (good or bad) and my thoughts. Another reason why I am so detailed and provide all my workouts and feedback along the way. This way as a consumer they can form a consensus before purchasing. This is not a knock at BPS at all. Personally a lot of people love the company and products. Perhaps I am a nonresponder and therefore I did not get much out of it. The feedback on their other products are great, so I know they are a good company.

That is why I enjoy your logs, the fact you don't hold anything back. My comment certainly wasn't meant as a dig towards BPS, just saying in general that I will be holding off on trying a laxogenin only product for a bit.
