The real test

So, I've been doing some homework, and trying to find out what a good 1st cycle run would be.

I'm 27 years old, 5'10", 185 @ 12% bf
Never ran a cycle before, but I've been lifting for years now, and really I guess I just feel like I've hit a wall on my natural limits.

I'm trying to keep it as simple as possible, so I'm pretty certain a single compound cycle is the way. My only issue is what? I'm not trying to just blow up, I'd like to make my gains as dry as possible. Which leads me to wondering if anyone has any input on running test prop would be best at 50mg/ED? Or if test e would be better? Or I've even looked at EQ at 500mg/wk? Nolvadex pct and aromasin as an AI
 
Great post bro, nice to see someone with solid stats and a sensible view asking the question.......already having proper ai and serm as well.

Others are better placed (more experienced) to answer but for what it’s worth, from what I’ve read, test e at 500 per week split into 2 doses, for 12 weeks would be very solid and give you good gains. I’ve only ran a couple of oral/td cycles though, pinning for first time in sept.

Eq seems to be a slow lean bulker but I think would deliver less.

I’m interested to see what others say but to me it seems like you have the right approach to get the most out of whatever you run. Good luck bro
 
I'm running prop right now. Not my first cycle though. I'm doing eod injections and while I don't mind them, I could see Ed injections for a first timer being pretty daunting. I'd say test enth or cyp, 500mg/week, 250 Monday, 250 Thursday.
 
I would definetly say for a first cycle. I would go test eth or test cyp for 12-16 weeks @ 500mg/week split 250 Monday Morning, 250 Thursday Afternoon would be a good run for you and up calories by 250 to 500 for a lean bulk. I would stay away from EQ for your first run.

500mg a week of test e was my first run and I learned a lot on it and made some solid gains. It defeintly helped me break a plateau that I had.
 
Bitchin! Test e seemed to be the way, from what I researched, but I had to get more clarity on prop and eq. Thanks bros! I plan on getting some test e, run it for 12 weeks, with some aromasin for my AI, novladex for a 4 week pct. Getting blood done before and probably towards the end to see of 4 weeks is gonna be good, or if longer may be needed. Maybe one more time around, say, week 10 too.
 
For what it’s worth, I was watching an interview with an endocrinologist the other day and he said the three safest AAS are EQ, masteron, and primo. I imagine he was leaving test out of the equation. Most people seem to say your first run should just be test though.
 
Yeah, I was actually gonna ask about masterton, too, but ended up deciding I'd rather go with EQ, if people said it'd be good to run for a 1st cycle. I had a feeling people would point towards test as that definitely seems the thing to run solo for the 1st. I had to make sure, though! Cause I was already starting to design a dry gaining stack, and I knew it would be a huge mistake do run multiple compounds for even the first few cycles!

You’re definitely against the idea of starting off with sarms? Plenty of people have put on 10+ lbs of muscle with them. And plenty of people have also called them a waste of money.
 
Well, I'm not necessarily against em. I've done a far amount of reading on them, and have definitely seen it go both ways. I know ultimately I'd have to try it for myself. I guess, when it comes down to it, real gear has been around for so long and seems to yield better results in terms of gains:sides than sarms. And if I'm gonna spend that much money and suppress my test either way, I would rather go with ol reliable, ya know? I totally looked at sarms as a potential half step, though.
