Guys why has no one actually read the updated write up yet lol

Disappointed

Open label with 5g leucine.
How many products cross that threshold in one serving?

Taurine is back in which I an happy with,
TMG was dropped for the obvious reason that the full dose is in Ergonine already, as is HICA

I think the biggest issue is not everyone takes ergonine. So PES is expecting users to stack their products which isn't always in the best interest of the consumer.

Obviously a much cheaper formulation, so hopefuilly the price point is much cheaper. Based on the label why do an open label for Leucine and then prop blend everything else? With Taurine being the first ingredient, im guessing this is pretty much a Leucine + Taurine product, with minuscule doses of everything else.

But are we?
Do you need TMG in an EAA?

Too many products have it now, and dropping it probably wins us more customers than it would ever lose.

It's dirt cheap if you are taking nothing containing it.

There is also just no need to get it intra, so we put taurine back in that has acute use pre/intra and now the product is a more true EAA.

It is a change, but as AminoIV stands it has little direct competition remaining,


Some people should read up and remember why you want EAA > BCAA
 
The new amino blend:

L-Leucine (Fermented, Instantized) 5g *
Amino Ancillary Blend 3g *
Taurine, L-Threonine, L-Lysine, L-Valine, L-Isoleucine, L-Phenylalanine, L-Histidine, L-Methionine

Amino IV also hit vitamin shoppe shelves this week. Just guessing, but some of those changes may be aimed towards the general public. (Not the 1% AM community :D)

In regards to new amino IV

I think it makes complete sense from both a marketing standpoint and just common sense/results standpoint. There's no reason for a company to have overlapping ingredients in products that are meant to do two very different things. There's also no reason to take in more than 2500mg betaine daily, 2g hica, 2.5g alanine glutamine etc.... There is also hica in alphamine. It got very redundant to be honest. I think this move makes complete sense for the company AND the consumer.... Just my .02

Plus new flavors ... You guys always love new flavors

We sold 3 bottles the first day it hit the shelf. 99.9% of the people I sell amino products to only care about the taste. We get returns every single day on great products but people don't care about the ingredients if they taste bad. I shake my head everyday processing all these returns & then dumping them in the trash.
 
^I think flavours needed a change too.
Blue Ice was the weakest on the line IMO, and PEScience has been doing great on all recent flavourings
 
^will try OCC definitely, the texture will be where this loses though I'm not sure that will mesh

BB muffin I hope they pull off!

No not possible, theres 5g Luecine and a blend of 8 aminos totaling 3gs, so the absolute max L-Valine and L-isoluecine could be dosed at would be 600mg but that would mean everyhting after those would be dosed at 1mg. so considering the things dosed below Valine and Isoluecine are more then 1mg, there would be significatnly less then 600mg of the other 2 BCAAs.

TMG is not needed no.

Hica was a big selling point for me, Always been a big believer in the ingredient.

I dont see why I would need Amino IV now, I can add EAA/BCAA/Taurine in bulk for so much cheaper to Ergonine or pre's.

Now thinking of moving on from PES, Seems to be downgrade after downgrade. Amino IV V1>V2>V3

My Opinion so dont get butt hurt.
 
Not at all man, that's a valid opinion, I liked HICA in it too, but being that I use Ergonine this change really only benefits me.
 
I can see the HICA also being less necessary as there is 5g leucine, though.
They work to the same ends really, (you're even getting a decent amount via the leucine) more potently per gram with HICA, but we fully activate the whole chain with leucine alone here.

At least one would think, I am just thinking out loud here

In a deficit I'd still feel better with the HICA, but I have E9

HICA and HMB =/= leucine. Granted, I agree that HICA/HMB isn't needed when you're not overtraining in some regard, but HICA/HMB is more anti-catabolic than leucine, which is more anabolic; to say that adding a bit more leucine will provide the same benefits as the HICA that was removed isn't correct IMO.

but vpx overlaps caffeine with every product.
 
A lot of stressing and some false accusations about the changes to our Amino IV formula lol.

When we had Ergonine through the Athletix line it didn't matter that we had ingredient overlap. We never intended for Ergonine to move to PES so it wasn't a concern.

As sales of it grew so rapidly we transitioned away from a direct to consumer sales model and brought it to PES. This meant we had overlap between Amino IV and Ergonine.

So, we made Amino IV a more basic and cost effective formula.

You want betaine anhydrous? HICA? LCLT? Awesome, they are still in Ergonine.

We made Amino IV exactly what it needed to be, an essential amino acid product with a solid dose of leucine.

So now our amino formula is going to sell on average for a lower price point than the last one making it more affordable for the people who want aminos.

Remember that amino acids are a far more commercial product than Ergonine. A large portion of customers who want aminos have no idea what betaine anhydrous is. Our educated consumer will continue to buy Ergonine and the people who specifically want aminos and leucine will buy Amino IV for a cheaper price point and improved taste than before. :)

No, let's make a more cost effective amino acid product. We may as well improve the taste while we are at it.

What about the guys that don't want/use ergonine but have been loyal to PES buying the product? I think Amino IV was the best in its category due to the Ratio & Hica and even better was V1, That formula was my fave Amino product to this day.

Maybe because some guys want the Aminos and Hica and they had it in one product? Now They would need to buy 2 products.

Also it makes more sense to me (maybe Im the only one though) to add the EAA/BCAA to Ergonine for true all in one?
