The Basics

Often times you hear people refer to the "basics," meaning the supplements they take regularly. I assume that everyone has their own regimen they stick with, so my question is, what are your basics? (Including stuff for both muscle gain as well as general health and well-being)
For me it's:
-multi vitamin
-flax oil
-b complex
-obviously protein if you want to count that

That's everything I almost always take.
I know some guys have a ton of stuff they take daily, and I would really like to hear about it.

Nice post taellian.

For me the very basic stack is:

Multi
Vitamin C (3000mg/day)
Uni-Liver (12 tabs/day)

CissusRX is usually in there, although Ill run that 4 weeks on/4 weeks off.

I also take Flax Oil and Protien, of course, but I dont count those as 'supplements', they're more of a staple in my diet.

My basics have been evolving for 25 years. The one supplement that I have consistantly used is choline in various forms, mostly Phosphatydal choline.

currently I take the following;

choline/serine complex
fish oil
chromium/vandium
fenugreek
al-car
betaine hcl
idebenone
ZMA
aloe vera
vitamin C + B complex
Whey protien / CLA
chlorella

Milk thistle
NAC
Green Tea Extract
B-Complex
Multi Mineral
Whey
Fish and Flax oil
Policosanol
Garlic with high Allicin content
Celery seed
Cissus
Vitamins C,E, & A

Not to rain on anyones parade but there is no such thing as a garlic with high allicin content. Allicin is deactivated a few hours after harvest and there is no way to stop or slow the process. Anyone claiming their garlic product is better because of that is just bs'ing you. All garlic is pretty much created equal.

Technically, as well as legally to claim any product is high in a certain measurable aspect is hyperbole. The term "high" is a relative one. So with out a "generally regarded as true" reference point of what would constitue "high", the company is really saying that their product has the same allicin content as the rest of the market. High implies that they are not the lowest and highest implies that no other product is higher in allicin content. If they were to claim a "higher" allicin content then they could be challenged. They would be obligated to show that their products allicin content was higher than all the others. They established a relative reference point by claiming a "higher" content. Then, if they could not prove this "higher" content they would indeed be bs'ing you!

Fish oil

Choline
