I have been lifting weights heavy and consistently for the past 3 years and dieting on and off. My lifting strategy has definitely changed over the past 3 years. I lift heavy for about 8-12 reps. My biggest pet peeve is women who press 10# DB's because they don't want to "bulk up." Just to give an idea, some of the weights I lift are:
DB Shoulder press: 35# DB's
Incline DB Chest Press: 40-45# DB's
Straight bar curls: 55#
Cable TPD: 90#
Take my word that form is always good. Mr. LanBane won't let me get away with bad form, he wouldn't hesitate to put a foot up my ass.
Right now my main goal is to lose BF while maintaing lean mass. I am currently lifting weights 3-4 times per week and doing cardio at least 3 times per week. My cardio workouts vary between HIIT and moderate steady-paced. Although I always try to "eat clean", my diet hasn't been too strict lately. That is about to change though!
I have competed in a couple of local bodybuilding shows. Nothing too serious, just for fun and the experience. As of right now I don't have any competitions planned for the future, but if I see some good results I might have to reconsider!
Supps: This morning I started off with 2 C2 prior to breakfast. I took 2 more around 3pm prior to another meal. I noticed a little bit more energy than usual with the C2. I plan on taking 2 camphibolic tonight before bed. I am also taking Beverly Lean Out and Ultra 40.
Diet: Still getting back on track from the holiday weekend. Tomorrow will be much better.
Workout: No workout today because the gym was closed (Memorial Day). I did sweat my balls off though (if I had them) while working in the yard.
