NW Indiana about 5 mins south of the Michigan border. My exit is the last exit on I-94 before you enter into Michigan.

I imagine I'll be driving right by there I'm about 1.5 hours

I deadlifted this morning until 275. It was too loud in the garage for how early it was.

Deadlifts again, up to 435x3, 485x2, 525xF. I think I just gave up. There wasn't a stop or a pause, as soon as the bar got above my knee I just put it down.

Haha could only imagine. One of the positives of having a home gym.

My neighbor saw my post online and said it was no worries and she didn't mind if I deadlifted on weekday mornings. That was only up to 275 or something.

After yesterday's workout my wife said she doesn't care what the neighbor says, she better not hear that sh1t while she's trying to sleep. Says she even feels the vibration in the house.

The more I move the bar at light weights the better the shoulder feels.

I've gotten lazy and consumed with chores.

Decided to squat light today, work on form, and get some volume in. Plan was 5x5 my inside left quad started fatiguing.

I've been slacking for multiple reasons. My cadet came home this past week for a few days. I've had some late work nights. And finally, lack of consistent training makes me lazy.

Sunday I did rows, 135# 10x20. I worked late tonight and last night but hopefully I find enough motivation to get up in the AM.

Diet is so-so. I eat well until I'm in a position that I can't prepare for.

First Saturday in a while that I have nothing important or pressing. Unfortunately, we have our nieces over and unless I sneak a lift in here or there I can't have a focused workout. They keep begging me to workout with them but they just eat to hang from bands on the power rack.

Wow it's been almost a month...

I've been slacking in the gym but focusing on work.

Good news: Yesterday I officially applied for the job I was temporarily assigned.

Bad News: Effective tomorrow my competition gets a shot at the temporary spot until we test.

I'm still sure it's mine though. My workload just got cut in half until then.

I did squats yesterday, probably 20 sets or so but only up to 225. Just getting my body moving.

Today I did shoulders, paused OHP up to 135. 4 sets of rows, 5 sets of pushdowns, 3 sets of banded rear fly, and 3 sets of band facepulls.

Goal is to get consistent again this week and check in here on your logs at least a couple times a week

I mean, i spent 6 days - 6 hours a day under the florida sun burning like a mf'er and in the water... was amazing.

Had the best time with my 19 year old daughter too....

Southerners are friendly people. A good portion of Floridian's are cranky snowbirds and their cracked out children. lol

Thanks, friendly isnt the word for it. I have never had such friendly, good service in restaurants.. and passerby's always saying hi and wishing you a great day. Pretty awesome.

Service is good in restaurants... but when I moved to Toronto (from a town an hour away where everyone was friendly), it just seemed that people here were too self centered. When im out for walks/runs i always say hi to people, but sometimes i get the wtf stare lol. Maybe it is the norm for BIG cities?

Just found where I was friendly and extremely relaxed.
