They probably impregnate the rubber with a powder to keep them from dry rotting and sticking together.. Wipe them down with some rubbing alcohol.

It took all I had to stay awake until 9 pm last night. Sleep was going well so I turned my alarm off around 2:30. Rest it is.

Yeah. When I was in my 180's I would use weights but always recorded it with weights+BW. I continue to do so to see if strength increases or decreases with them.

I'm limited because the time I go in. I have no better options for a 24 hour gym. I have to adapt. Mace swings with coffee at the house. Fortunately my kitchen ceiling is almost 20' at its peak.

Maybe you're right. Maybe the mace brings the primal out of other guests when I leave it unattended.

Dude do you have room for a garage gym or to put up a shed like Jimbuick? $4k gets a brand new half rack, new Tex powerbar, bench, other odds and ends. You already have your bands and belt and chalk and such, and you don't even need a heater where you live. Just throw down some plywood sheets and horsestall mat and bolt her down.

You buy the weights used, and if you Craigslist the rack and bench and bar it can be had for a grand with weight instead.
 
Maybe someone who gets my money I paid in can buy some gym equipment. Lord knows the gov has taken more than I care to give. Have to ask for an extension this year...

I saw a great Rogue rack that came with chains, bars, and weights for real cheap a few months back. It was just a bad time.

This isn't true in a lot of instances. Poor planning, sure. Allowing the govt to keep your over paying of taxes interest free us stupid. We get more back if we spend a certain amount improving the house, a certain amount on medical, etc.

I try to figure mine to where I break even or have to pay a little. With the overtime I end up having to write even a bigger check. It's a shame when I pay more in taxes (state fed) than my mom gets in Social security.

Even with me and my wife working we didn't get paid enough to go up a bracket this year. Even with my overtime.


And Texas doesn't do an income tax so I only deal with federal.
