So...I was told literally right before the top set of DL that my videoing is not allowed unless everyone in the gym signs a waiver. WTF?!?!?!?!

Anyway, I rarely workout this late in the morning. I'm going to keep doing it and type up waiver and have all the early morning regulars sign it.

I also went to a nearby cross-fit gym to see what his hours are and if he'd work out a deal on deadlift and squat days. Just like with the garage Pl gym, no one works out at 4PM, and evening lifts are not going to happen (per the wife's rules).

Time for a power rack fund-me account...

Killing it man, and I agree with L&S. Even if my gym kicked me out, I'd go to one of the multiple that are 5 minutes away. Commercial gyms are on every street corner around here lol.

The rules at your gym just getting more pathetic. You are welcome to lift in my garage anytime.. but ummm that might break your wifes rules too - as you wont be home for supper lol

We have a teen, so it wouldn't be fair for me to workout during all the high school responsibilities. Hence the 4AM workouts. I'd gladly join you if I could.
 
excellent work on the deadlifts sir!

it sucks when you have to abide by somebody elses rules. quite awhile ago i worked out at a commercial gym that had a full olympic lift station, power rack/platform and about 500 lbs of bumper plates. it was in a big commercial steal beam constructed building that was also a hotel. apparently if you dropped anything more than 250 lbs, even on the platform, it would vibrate the floor directly into the master suites area of the hotel and they would have a fit. all because some logistics person didn't under the application of exercise equipment he was arranging within the building i couldn't use it for what it was designed for all well paying a premium fee to do so.

p.s., if you pull the bar up high enough that you only have to bend your knees into about a 1/4 squat or less to get under it, that's a power clean. if you pull lower and catch it a little above parallel then ride it down into a full squat and stand back up with it, that's a full clean.

This is why I need a commercial gym.

I'm emailing corporate today. After thinking about it there are quite a many athletes and bodybuilder a at my gym that record posing practices, etc. Seems stupid to not allow it. Also went through the Florida statues, and if corporate says it's ok than no individual can prevent me from recording in any area where explicit privacy isn't guaranteed.

I know he's seen me video for months. I'm not sure why he decided to say something now.
 
No doubt one client complained anonymously and so they feel they must make an issue of the matter. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the client isn't even around to be video'd. Some ppl just need to complain for the sake of complaining.

Keep doing what you're doing buddy and save up for that rack for yourself!

Fortunately, this gym recently bought a Golds a couple years ago that's relatively close. I may go there instead. Also looking into another close 24 hr gym. Thanks Kat.

Last minute we went to the hunting camp to do some maintenance. I didn't realize that that general gun season already started. Dang....

Gonna go hunt next weekend.

Dont have property here and im too busy to go out searching for people's property to hunt. I always think about going out when i go home for the holidays but im never there long enough to make it count. My dad had our feeder out right by our house so maybe ill just be able to get one off the back porch lol.
