Woke up at 0219 and haven't been able to go back to sleep.

I feel rested enough to workout, but I'll likely lose energy early in the day today.

Hoping for 450!
 
Nice work on the presses man. Some times you need the rest. But yeah both incline and OHP keep the shoulders back and down. I use an arch on incline.

Squats felt good today. I was almost scared of 450 until I hit bottom. Didn't feel that heavy.

Thanks Brian. I was happy with the depth on that one. Not so much on 385.
 
It may sound stupid, but anecdotally I've found if I am a little high on depth on work up sets its like I end up being just perfect on a heavy set...it's like the weight forces you to a perfect spot and you have a nice rebound.

Awesome squatting man. You definitely aren't at a true 1RM yet.

Thanks Rob. Thankfully I videoed the 385, or I might not have known that I was high. I don't know if you can tell, but I tried to find a more neutral head/neck. It got progressively worse as my work sets got up there though.

I can't write diacritics/sometimes vowels on my phone keyboard. That and I may be using a levantine words/dialect. Trying to stay fresh on it.

So, i was up at 2 thinking about some stressful situation, which is why I couldn't go back to sleep. Sometime around 7 my BP skyrocketed. It was that way most of the day and just started tapering off a couple hours ago. Never had that happen before.
 
A sign that more sex is needed...with the wife of course, stay away from the sheep...lol
 
That peanut butter stuff gets chalky and clumpy. I can't drink it in my protein shakes because the texture is yuck. :/
 
Probably anxiety, bud. That'd explain the BP spike. Caffeine can exacerbate this sometimes.

How much do you put in? Typically I mix 1 scoop protein in with 8oz of almond milk. If I add PB2 at 2tbsp, I add another 2oz almond milk. Otherwise it's super thick.

I just add hot water, oatmeal, and my protein shake. Am I doing it wrong? Haha, I can't even make a damn shake.
 
It might be kinda thick to add to oatmeal unless you use it instead of protein or 1/2-1/2

It gets crumbly. I'm wondering if the hot water is "cooking" it. Tastes worse than crunchy peanut butter.

That's very possible. I used to put protein powder in coffee to chill and drink later in the day, and it would do that. Try adding the liquid to the oatmeal first, then after stirring in add the powders.

I let it sit for a few hours and it's pretty good, I can't taste the chunky stuff anymore. :D thank you!

Work related stuff. Something is going down at work an I had to go above a few heads to protect my ***, because they've been pawning a liability off on me. I said I won't ride with/train this person anymore.

It was a day long situation as mentioned above.

No extra stims today for that reason.
 
Office politics, yep that'll cause it! Was determined long ago my personality doesn't fit a typical office. I'm more of the "break glass in case of emergency" guy. I don't fit the new "don't hurt their feelings" society. Good luck Thomas, and if you can't get it straightened out then take the person behind a closed door and give them wall to wall counseling. Your word against theirs...lol
 
It's a she, and since day one 3 months ago I've given them enough to fire her multiple times. Now she's fighting against upper management, exactly what I said would happen to the asst chief on her 7th day, and they documented almost nothing to protect themselves.

You and I would make great neighbors Brian! I'm with you 1050% on this! I can't stand this "rub their little toes before asking them to do their damn job" generation! Thomas, that would increase my BP all day as well. To be safe though, keep an eye on your BP.

More coming quick; I personally feel 5/3/1 works the best for squat over any of the other lifts (not that it won't help them). Remember to live one day at a time concerning the job; God will provide. Your job is just to be the best man you can be every day, and hopefully better than the man you were yesterday somehow.

I slept 9.5 hours last night. Solid, sound sleep.

Originally I thought I might start a deload this week, but I feel like singles week doesn't take much out of me. So, every 4th week from here on, in between 3's and 5's weeks, I'll deload. Those DL AMRAPs are starting to fatigue me fore sure.

Bench on tap. Then I get to dig to run pipe at the house.
