TGR's Modified PowerBuilding v2.0

Nope, sorry, can't count them...lol
You took breaks...lol
And your dance was off...lol

Oh ok, I guess they count! Killer job Thomas. Made them look easy brother!

Nope, made too much noise dropping the bar! Can't count them! Lol. Another congratulations!

Lol. Thanks guys, and stop knocking the dance.

Speaking of noise, I used a bumper on each side and it helped with rolling and not making the hexes jump. Didn't feel normal though. lol

Sweet man!!!!
Amazing PR! Congrats !!!

Awesome pr man... im gonna try your dance.. maybe thats the secret to pr city

They have to dig a new well. ****!!!

What was the reason given?

They can't send a snake down there and break up whatever is down there whether it be deposits on the pipe it's self or something blocking the end

They think it's cracked, letting air in.

If the galvanized pipe got bent then that's probably where the problem is.

What diameter are you going back with. At only 120ft I take it really is just an irrigation well and not a water well?

Considering we're barely above sea level, 120' is a deep well here. The other option is artisan, and I'm considering it.

No, it's not deep for a drinking water well. Best drinking water is in the deep aquifer(4-600ft). 120 isn't all that great for drinking, and you're only in the intermediate aquifer. Chased a lot of groundwater contaminants at that depth.

We have never had issues. Some people around here have 50' wells. We hit water at about 5.

We do buy 5 gallon water jugs tho.

Oh nooooo!! That sucks! I'm so sorry Thomas! I know that's so frustrating!

Heck of a job on the PR though! I think the dance is cute! Dances and faces are vital parts of proper training!! ;)

Ha. Thanks Kat!

Same here. Groundwater is at 7.5'bgs. I've got about 200 monitoring wells on the old airbase here that I still keep up with. At 1 point had over 500. Part of the environmental work I did for 30 years and still do part time. Glad you use jug water...

We're leaning towards an artisan well I believe. Supposed to be a lot better quality.

The neighbor who let us tap into their well are coming home tonight. We need to find out their shower schedule. :(

Rest day.

I feel drained.

I'd recommend taking a few samples of the groundwater after the well is installed and having them analyzed. A lot of municipalities have a lab lined up to be able to provide this service, sometimes at no charge. They would provide the containers. This is if you plan on consuming the water or showering in it. The well driller(if he is any good) can usually provide this info.

If you google it then Google Artesian Well. Just means the aquifer is under pressure and forces water to the surface once you tap into it.

The artesian will run approx 500'. Other options are a salt and pepper well at 2-280' or a shallow well at around 85'.

Neighbor is considering going in half on an artesian.

Tomorrow is supposed to be front squats.

Definitely go the 500ft Artesian Well. Better water, better pressure, no fouling, just to mention some of the positives.

Depends on the neighbor. We don't have the full amount right now with all of the other stuff that has happened.

We're talking a difference of 4-5K between them.

Dang man! So much has been happening back to back! I hope you got a little rest! Hopefully the neighbors will go in with you in the well!

If you plan on keeping the property then take a loan. Worth the investment. 280ft might be ok, I don't know the geology down there. Most municipalities wells are at 5-600ft for a reason around the coastal areas. They produce quality and never dry up or have problems.
No way would I drink water or shower in the water at 85ft unless I was out camping in the wilderness.

85' wells are very common here and test well enough to drink. They typically have high iron content, but my neighbors tests negative for iron. I'm not sure if this is just this particular area or not.

Yeah, our city sucks water at 500'.

The AC unit was 6K, and we just came 3500 out if pocket for an attorney retainer (kiddo related). That, the pump stuff, and 1K/mo for private school is preventing me from taking a loan.

Totally understand my man. Stay away from the 85fter though, too easy for contaminants to get to that zone. A quart of TCE(solvent) can contaminate a 40 acre area and all it takes are fractures in the clay for it to get to 120ft(usually a nice confining clay layer around 120ft). Obviously I'm just using this as an example but any contaminant that is a sinker will get there.
Good luck Thomas. Definitely one to pray about.

Sorry to hear all about these pump and well issues. Such a worry.
All the best buddy.

We hit about 5' of clay at 8-12'. I can't remember where we hit rock, and they lean away from the 200' wells here. Thy say they only last about 5 years due to our sand, and it somehow collapsing in and clogging the line. I'm sure I'm butchering that.

Prayers, for sure.

Neighbor said that we can run off his line as long as needed. That's an awesome blessing itself.

Haven't read much of this. Do you need a well? Is there not water through the city? Seems like such a hassle...

There is no water on our street, currently. This was 'country', but is slowly becoming more suburb. Water was recently run a few streets over, so it'll be here soon.

I have to use a different rack. This one has a horrible slope so I keep hitting the lower pin. More notes below...

Bulgarian Split Squats 102

Set 1 : 65x6
Set 2 : 75x6
Set 3 : 85x6

I decided to do and stuck with straps on fronts from here on. It's not the most comfortable for me, but u figure over time it will increase my ROM in the shoulders.

Squats are getting better. A few times the bar rolled atop my shoulder and I had to readjust.

Motivation was low today.

Hitting the rack like that screws up the rest of the workout. You're concentrating on where you are more than the lift at that point. Really sucks.
Still good squatting there. Glad you found something that'll work doing front squats.

I have trouble front squatting as well. I have tried a few different things, but the strap method is the only one that seems to work for me.
