TGR's Modified PowerBuilding v2.0

I thought 1 minute was a breather...lol!
The snickers was a carb up before bed right? lol

Ha. Sure. MASS 550 keeps me so hungry. I only went to the Snickets because I didn't have any bad carbs on hand. :)

I just caught up on your thread. You've posted some great workouts. Lots of volume all around. Excellent job!

I was peer pressured into going to lunch for a co-workers birthday, and, cheeseburgerandfries.

I may do some super light of work tomorrow, other than that all cardio this weekend to rest up for Cycle 5.

My wraps are predicted to be here tomorrow, however, they just left Sacramento at 10:00. So, I'm betting maybe Monday. Unless they're flown straight into Jax.

Next weeks calories will be in check, for sure. Dunno what's got into me.

Gonna watch movies with the wife tonight, hopefully.

And i finally just disabled auto-correct. My life will forever be better.

Nice workout Thomas... Hex presses.. i like!

I went really light on them, but after the inclines and pull-aparts i was already toast. I was also surprised how heavy the inclines felt after DB and OH presses.

Probably some light leg work today. Maybe squats if a rack is open; high bar to let my lower traps heal, up to 225 i guess.

Helping someone move tomorrow so it'll be a rest day. Gonna go in to Cycle 5 feeling great Monday. Rep-bench PR here i come.

Oh, 217.2 this morning. Thats the most I've weighed in maybe 6 years.

+9 # in under a month. Geesh...

Granted, i may have just lost 4 of it.

Gonna try hard to get under 200 before the end of my MASS 550 run.

Something is a little off here... You shouldn't take MASS550 while you are trying to lose lol!

I was guessing you were on a roll for laughs, sleep typing(like sleep walking), or drunk lol!!

Lets shoot for 10# this month

Needs ice cream to go with them!!

Dang that was a good workout! My lower back was feeling it just reading it!

Those good mornings you did had me holding my back. I just started doing those (thanks to Sheiko) seated. I'm trying to learn how to do them properly. I feel the bar rolling a bit. I have only done up to 85 pounds. It's not to heavy. It's awkward

I've never tried them seated. Are you doing them high or low bar? I have to pull them tight into my upper traps the way i did them today. When i do them like that video someone posted last week, i can do them lower.

I think i remember them being awkward a in the beginning too.

Did someone say Oreos?...I'll take 10 of each! Lol ;)

The replacement they gave us crapped out on Monday. Had to take it back too. Thanks Kat. I can't wait to get them. Mischelle slept in today. I'm glad she didn't tell me before hand because I would've also. Dunno what I'll do tho. Maybe light DL and some leg curls, curls, and farmers or something. Maybe even cardio. Gotta earn my calories.

Wow really? That didn't take too long did it!

Nice. I'll try and incorporate them during normal training too. Thanks. I made some pulled pork nachos tonight followed by a Clif bar covered in peanut butter. Tomorrow might have quite a bit of treadmill waiting for me.

Oh my!! Where are the pics? That sounds amazing!

Lol
Beer lifting!!!

Or Whiskey lifting according to some on here! Haha

You're definitely putting in work as always. Even your deload is hard work!!

What're golden Oreos?

Awful, that's what they are. It's not that they're terrible, so much as there is never a single situation in my life where I'd prefer them to regular Oreos, or the myriad other flavor variations for that matter. If you're eating them purely for variety, you need to seriously evaluate how often you're consuming Oreo products lol

Your deload is better than last time btw, but it still sucks. It's easier than usual, but there's definitely still too much work to really give everything an honest break.

I don't like Oreos. However. The red velvet and PB ones are pretty good.

Whaaa? I don't see a single day that i over-did.

I must find <img src="http://anabolicminds.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=114943"/>

Ooh. Someone on IG said they don't exist.

Regular for the win! Although, I do like the mint Oreos.

The deload is not about extra accessory work. It is not about "not over-doing it". It's about UNDERdoing it so you can give the parts a break and unload fatigue debt. 225 pauses are a realistic belt-less work weight for you. If the db & incline presses were fairly tough, again, you missed the mark. There's a reason most people don't take a deload for 2 or 3 cycles of 5/3/1. So you basically skipped a week that you could be training your dedicated program without getting the full intended effect of the deload.

That being said, this is real life. Training should be enjoyable. Sounds like you got that, a bit of a mental break, and it was good for you. So nothing to regret there. But the next time you try one, really embrace the deload aspect if you're really interested in your progress on the main lifts :)

Dammit dude, I will get off your lawn. Lol

I understand what you're saying. Hypertrophy stuff doesn't fatigue me long, so i figured that was good. The most taxing thing i did this week was today's GMs. Those don't fatigue me long either tho.

Next time, bingo and bridge it is. ;)

High bar. On my shoulders like I put the bar for squats. Where do I put the bar for low bar?

When I do low bar, I feel like I'm going to fall backwards and I can't get a good grip.

I struggle with grip too, but if anything low bar makes me lean a tad forward

Honestly the GMs are why I said something. I know you do rounded back full-range GMs and I know how taxing 185x10 is on the spine - that's not playing around weight, that's ridin' around and gettin' it weight lol
