TGR's Modified PowerBuilding v2.0

Nice deads man. I hate those non-round plates tho (they are such a pain).

He just wanted to look cool!

Awesome PR Thomas!! Very impressive work as always!

Damn man! Not only setting the PRs but making it look like it was a walk in the park.

Ever think about hooking the first rep just to get the work in then going to your alternating grip? You reset after each set to get realigned from the plate roll so i think you could pull hook for a few reps then switch. Just a thought

Nice pulls though man!

Man, hook hurts so damn bad. lol.

I think there are a few variables as to why my grip wasn't great last week, including the work the day before and not enough chalk. I was out of breath and ready to get out of my belt, otherwise I could've held that 435 for a lot longer. I'm going to play with hook on lighter deads/rows, and may just stick with O/U.

Thanks J

Wow! You're continuing to hit all kinds of PR's. Beast man!

For sure man i was just trying to give you some ideas. Fwiw i also bought that liquid chalk stuff and it works great for just added gip, but it isn't even comparable to how much real chalk helps with HG.

I've yet to give hook a try with chalk. I'll try that on Krocs this week.

Oh Thomas.... Your facial hair and your quads.

Awesome as always!

Liquid chalk for the win!

Never, for hook grip.

Man, thats part of the reason you're hating it so much. Lol. Chalk those thumbs up good. I pretty much cake chalk on the medial side of my thumb and even onto the web. (Like i said, real chalk works way better for this than the liquid stuff).

They don't allow reg chalk at my gym. I'll test liquid tho (until that gets banned). That would be awesome if that made a difference...

Yeah i remember you saying that. It sucks. And i'm not sure how big of a difference the liquid stuff makes, I usually just go for the chalk chalk when it comes to HG.

I keep telling you, Mammut off Amazon is what you want. Only stuff I've found that's as good as powder if you can't use powder. Smear it, blow it dry, and pull.

You're an hour late... Just ordered some U.S. Iron Club liq chalk. I was also looking into Hand Armor, or Armor Hands. That stuff is expensive.

I think this is the first time you mentioned it.

Have to negate that PR. Every time you set the bar down and let go it starts a new set... You did 8 quick sets...lol

Strong pulls man!!!

My quads are pumped like crazy...

So, stance width came in and I found my new FS grip. After tricep mashing I'm able to get a little more flexibility. I can grab the bar with two fingers but it has to be inside my shoulders and overhand. Keeps my elbows up at least.

Just like that, I'm optimistic about front squats.

Below is how I was able to hold it. I've tried this in the past but was unable to get my hands to the bar.

No offense but I rather see her front squat than you lol
Awesome work as always!!

Hey Register
What's a somersault squat?

That's a good day of front squatting Thomas. Need to work those in to my routine

Am I the only one not crazy about Marisa Inda?

What's not to like?

Thanks man. It's weak, but progress will be mine. I'm slight form changes away from a skyrocketing number, I think.

Haters.

She's a woman who lifts. Sure she's strong, but nothing insane. And I don't think she's very attractive. Call me a hater, maybe I am. I just don't understand the instragram craze over women who lift.

I don't look that much into it, I just think she has killer legs.

Nice PR buddy...

Thanks man.

Nice session as always Thomas! She does have nice legs...

Same here.

Not sure why everyone is always sharing her videos on FB and **** either. So she does clapping pushups and slow pull-up, who gives a crap?

And tbh, she looks like she got a hard whoopin with the old ugly stick.

I stole the banded landmine presses from Duffin. It took me a minute to get them down, ended up tying a knot 3/4 of the way down on a red band and standing on it.

I have a conference today, so I'll check in on you guys later. Good lifting.

Oh, did lots of banded mobility stuff. Shoulder and bicep both felt great today. I wanted to do more shoulder stuff but some dude wanted to talk about the ShouldeRok forever.
