test prop crystaling???

:think: I need help!! I used 5.5gms test prop with 2.5% BA and 7.5% BB. I warmed the test-ba-bb in vial placed in heated pot of water. After dissolved and sat the solution crystalized. I am going up 1% at a time on bb(@11%bb). Now baking it in oven @275 for 10mns@time. Still not clear! Should I up the BA slowly .5% and 1%bb?? Or just got to 5%ba 15%bb (standard). Please help me avoid trashing it....Thanx NEONAROSSA
 
If you put this in a 20ml vial you have a 275mg/ml mixture which IMO is too high for prop. If you put it in a 50ml vial, you would have a 110mg/ml sol. Most props come @ 100mg/ml. If you did the first, I see why it crashed. The closer you get to a base substance, the harder it will be to suspend. The higher ester gear usually suspend alot better.
 
I am trying to make 55ml@ 100mg ml. Im up to 3%ba and 11%bb. And it is still crystaling. I switched to a 100ml vial to hold the solution......NEONAROSSA
 
Thanx I will just keep going up on the bb!! Hopefully b4 20% it will stay in solution. 20% bb would probably be painful??? Thanx........NEONAROSSA
 
Are you sure you are measuring everything properly? I ask b/c many make prop at 100mg/mL with BA between 3-5% and BB between 8-12%.

SIZE!! I weighed it @5.5gms. Added 46ml grapeseed oil,3%ba1.6ml-11%bb6ml.....
baked it @275 10mns checking it and swirling. still crystals after sit.

I use 20%BB in everything. It makes it thinner, it is painless, and it is the human grade standard.
 
This is taken from an Upjohn test cypionate insert. It is the exact amount of each substance for 200mg/mL test cypionate. Thought it might interest some hombrewers.

This is directly off insert->

Each mL of the 200mg/mL solution contains:
Testosterone cypionate........................ 200mg
Benzyl benzoate................................... 0.2mL
Cottonseed Oil...................................... 560mg
Benzyl alcohol(as preservative)............ 9.45mg

If you break if down, it comes out to be below 1% BA and 10% BB. Of course, this is for cypionate and not prop.
