Test E injection help

I recently injected test E into my glute I don't believe I hit the site right. Now I have a lump and redness around the lump. Is this an infection, there is no sign of edema, currently, I've had no flu like symptoms or anything of the sort. The lump hurts kind of dully. I used a 23g 1.5 needle syringe combo for about .5ml of fluid. This is also the first time injecting so I've seen virgin muscle symptoms like this. When I got out of the shower the redness had dissipated to a small area but now as I sit on it, it seems to grow further out. The injection was Monday morning and it's now wednesday night. Please let me know what you think. Thank you!

Site pain is common especially for the first couple injections into a "new" muscle. I wouldn't worry too much, but definitely do some research on how to execute a proper IM injection.

Thanks I was getting extremely paranoid for a second. I'll keep an eye on it. And do you have any tricks for gluteal injections to target the muscle right?

I found this video helpful, especially the part where you slide the skin on the injection area about 1 inch, inject, then release the skin to seal in the liquid;
