Test E , 1-shot per week?

I see alot of people taking 2 shots of test E a week. 250 and 250. I've never seen this back in the day, the half life is pretty long with this test. One shot a week is what I've seen in the past. Is this correct?

You can get away with it, but I don't recommend it. A good rule to go by is inject at half the half-life which is about five days. I just do it twice a week to make it easier.
