Yeah shut up I know how Google works, I figured a few of my bulging broze could share a few thoughts real quick.

Don't care what people with agenda's against companies say against amento, I used it (from conqu3r) for the first time in a month and a half and mood effects were deff there and that feeling I ususally get where weights feel lighter. Love the stuff.

Agreed first time i used it everything went up, didn't matter what, compounds and isolation accessory exercises were the most noticeable for me. i however do prefer a higher dose whenever i use it, all at once pre workout.

Mood, strength, and body composition (with consistent use) are the three things that occur with Amentoflavone use for me the most.

You need to read that link bro. Its one of the first things he discusses...

"Amentoflavone possesses the highly unique ability to increase calcium release; in fact, essentially only one other commonly found compound shares this mechanism: caffeine. Unlike caffeine though, Amentoflavone is 20 times more potent at increasing muscle calcium than caffeine [1]. This increase in muscular calcium concentration is part of the reason why caffeine is an ergogen (capable of improving exercise performance), and Amentoflavone achieves this effect in a more potent manner."

Same. Amentoflavone did nothing for me

Amentoflavone seems to be very hit or miss for people. You can find a ton of people who agree with the idea that it does nothing for them, and a ton who swear it does. It's quite possible this is very under-dosed for some people. Neuron and others have mentioned the idea that it could possibly have poor bioavailability and we a might be taking too low of a dose. A study came out in November 2014 demonstrating significant bioavailibility issues in vivo using lab mice. I believe (from reading on other forums) the original proposed MOA for strength gains has been thrown into big time doubt. At best the actual science is somewhat sketchy, but the anecdotal feedback is close to 50/50 and people who think it is doing something for them notice different things. Confusing to say the least :)

I've used it and it is hard to say whether or not it did anything. If it did the effects were very minimal for me. No mood increase and no noticeable increase in strength. It's quite odd how conflicting the anecdotal evidence with it has been. Makes me wonder if other factors are at play? And clearly with it being in so many pre-workouts it would be hard to attribute certain things to just the Amento.

For me it isn't something I'd buy again as a standalone, but it is in some of my favorite pre-workouts anyways. It's not that expensive if people want to run their own experiments with it. Maybe I will get some Komodo Amentoflavone and mega dose it for ****s and giggles. See if I can get some of those effects at high dosages?

Mood elevation is most noticeable for me. Even when I've been cutting weight for a meet, my mood is still high. I notice an increase in work capacity next with strength increases being hit or miss.

Science is sketchy to me. Last thing I remember reading was that Exo had showed it's major MOA was proven to be false and Coop was theorizing it worked in a different way but nothing has been proven?

I could be wrong on this Coop feel free to chime in

Regardless I have never noticed anything from it whether it be mood or strength. Only reason I take it is that it's included in some preworkouts I take

Took a week off of norco and then started using it again and I was wondering why I felt so good lol. Boooya
