Triac doesn't convert to T3, but has similiar action to T3 since it's a metabolite of it. It's also slightly harder to overdose triac. There's good protocal for running a cycle of triac, as well as cycle logs if you do a Invalid Link Removed. Both Triac as well as exogenous T3 suppress your own TSH and in turn, T3 production. One upside to triac is Invalid Link Removed has it, but either work pretty well. Definitly do your research before chosing if it's right for you.
