T3 for the "average" person

I was curious what t3 would do for someone who either had not much muscle to begin with or an average woman who was just looking to shed some weight. The reason I ask is b/c without anabolics t3 can be muscle wasting...but if your someone who has minimal muscle would there be any muscle wasting effect? This is just out of pure curisosity.

t3 is actually anabolic - if you supply yourself with enough calories

it speeds up all your processes, including protein synthesis

the problem is when you're using either a high high dose or not getting enough calories and adequate protein

author l rea recommends 25-50mcg/day + 2g protein/lb for the anabolic effect (of course he also recommends stacking it with hgh, insulin, and 100mg test prop/day)

My personal experience is that it was VERY anabolic at about 30mcg day - you don't get the rapid strength build up of steroids, but your body functions are all faster and you can build muscle much quicker

I found that above 50mcg/day it didn't matter what I ate - fat just melted off

and around 100mcg/day, I experienced serious catabolism

a lot of people will tell you that its a harsher/more serious chemical than clenbuterol (the other popular cutting steroid) but I find next to no side effects with t3 - just a dry mouth - and if you taper up and then back down you should be fine.

There's a lot of rumor about how t3 will shut off your thyroid but I have yet to see anybody actually do so, and I've known people running it at 125 mcg/day for 4 weeks.

To be safe, run 3 weeks on, 3 weeks off, don't exceed 100 mcg

i have found plenty of clenbuterol information but i have never been able to find that much t-3 info

optimal cycle is 3 weeks you say....at a pyramiding effect, what would this look like? i would want to stay below 50mcg, possibly even below 40mcg...

well as the 2nd post explained...it depends on dosage

at a higher dosage it would break down any existing muscle, at a lower dosage it could help you gain some muscle...

I know all of that stuff, but was wondering how it would work for some average joe who doesn't lift and just wants to shed some weight.

so you're asking how it works without exercise?

Don't underestimate the seriousness of T3. People will argue back and forth of how it's good, it's bad, it gave them no sides, lots of sides, severe suppression or "oh my thyroid bounced right back, you're wrong!" but the bottom line is that it can be dangerous if not used properly. For the average joe who doesn't exercise... does this average joe eat properly? does this average joe get proper sleep? does this average joe have bad drinking habits?
For the average joe, stay away from T3. What's wrong with you other guys in the forum?
For the beginning bodybuilder, stay away from it.
For one who is well versed in human anatomy and physiology and knows the basics of pharmacokinetics and has been researching this substance and asking the right questions for some time, consider using it. I don't see why though. There's so many other good products out there now that don't screw with thyroid function.

agreed..i fit the quota and would like to try some this summer..

I'll give up on this question....I wasn't advocating giving t3 to someone who doesn't exercise and is an average joe, i was just curious as to what the effects would be...

The effects on an average joe? Lethargy, catabolism (whatever dose for someone who isn't exercising at all), and thyroid suppression are a few of the effects your average joe can expect.
