LOL he said to the ESPN guy "It's like if I go up to you and tell you to shut up" but he can tell Brad Childress (OC) "don't speak to me until I speak to you" and he doesn't see that as disrespectful :rofl: He's making the 49ers front office look smart and that's hard to do.

the rule isn't going to stop it from happening, obviously. If a defensive player is chasing someone down he'll grab whatever he can (outside of the facemask).

Imagine going back to the bench after chasing someone for 50yards and not attempting to tackle the player. Explain that to ball coach.

this is all very interesting, knowing the Eagles fans they will boo owens until he leaves. In this instance - it may be justified

Did this once in high school. Guy was a few steps ahead of me and I couldn't tackle him so I didn't bother.

Coach ripped me a new one when I got back to the sidelines. Told me to fucking dive, fly, etc whatever I had to to at least make it LOOK like I wanted to tackle him.
