Very slow. Very complex. Very interesting. Very good.
 
i hope they did a better job with this than they did with Traffic...that movie was awful.
 
Been thinking of checking it out, will have to give it a look. I thought Traffic was okay. Great style to it, great subject matter, completely killed by the idea of a Drug Czar's daughter turning into a crack whore. I mean come on...

Agreed, while drug addiction happens among all groups in society, I think she ended up prostituting herself for drugs. Not likely coming from a wealthy community. Addiction occurs, but it manifests differently. I see the point they were trying to make--that it could happen to anyone--but come on. At least have it be his stepsister's stepdaughter or something a bit more removed.

Yeah, there was a lot in Traffik that left a lot to be desired. It was kind of a mish mash of stereotypes all having dialogue. Douglas' character was good, but yeah, a crackwhore for a daughter pffft.
 
I loved traffic

I hated Syriana so much. It has to be my biggest movie letdown ever. I mean it wasn't terrible, but I had such high hopes.
