Greg also (owner of trutein) would stalk the owner of Scivation when i worked the booth for them, and came back every hour asking for mike and demanding to talk to him and kept asking me to find him. Found it quite odd.

Eating today was a bit of a struggle... Timing was a mess and options were limited but I kept cals really low since I wasn't very active and wanted to leave room in case dinner options were bad. Airport food sucks.

Leeeaaann first and foremost. Plus I just straight up didn't have options to meet macros adequately. Everything is all processed junk. That's what happens when you have to fly to and from in one day
 
Exactly. Never want to do that again. Thus staying relatively lean is the priority.

Cutting back intake does not help either during a reverse when you can easily pack on some size and ramp up that metabolism.
Varying your intake due to activity a few days here or there will stray you from your plan of attack, just follow what you want to hit kcal wise, hit it and move on
Enjoy some moderation and continue to implement some extra free meals here or there and be social.

While counting calories is great and all, none of us collect paychecks doing so, and looking in the mirror in the middle of winter is not always going to show us walking around with our shirts off, a good time to add and fill out that frame. You better be a lot bigger than last year at the arnold :)

Just from meeting you at the arnold you are a taller guy and a large frame to fill out. If you want to add some size and strength you wont always be "Lean" 24/7, nor is it the healthiest thing for an individual to be regarding hormones and overall health levels.

Just throwing that out there.

High Rep Leg Extension: 80x20 65x25 50x30

One if those workouts where everything felt right. Mind to muscle on point, belt fit perfectly, catching breath. Focused. Just everything felt good.

5'4" - 5'5"ish

was 155-160, then had Tommy John and went down to 130. Gained back to 150, then dieted down to 135 and around 6-7% with my coach to see how my body would react for a contest diet, and now gain train until 155-160, or for a solid 18-24 months

also dealing with hypothyroidism right now, so weight gain is taking a bit of time to find a new maintenance. though my maintenance at 147 was 2500 cals, and i'm at 2,600 now and still waiting for the scale to improve. but performance and strength is increasing so i'm happy

I feels you son. I'm taking in 3340 cals minimum ED just to maintain weight. LoL. I would up it to 3800 minimum to try to bulk more but at that point, eating seriously becomes a second job. LoL.

i'll be posting pics when i send them to my coach this friday. it's been an up and down journey bob lol just grinding and trying to get better everyday one day at a time

idk its tough with the synthroid thing as it's obviously picking up my metabolism but most importantly i'm feeling better.
 
Had an awesome workout today. Chest was still a tad sore, so instead of pushing it I stayed around an RPE of 7 and just did 185 and worked on form and technique. Rack pulls felt great, doing a much better job of activating my lats. OHP feels good too as I'm focusing on just adding 5-10 lbs each session while keeping good form. Banded explosive hammer press was rough, the pump was crazy... did a 3s descent downward and then explode up and made sure to hold the contraction. All in all I'm feeling better, getting stronger. The scale will follow just gotta be patient.

I'll try to get some pics up soon. Been real busy the last few days. Just leaving the allergist now cuz I've had these miserable hives/welts on my hands the last week and a half. The swelling and itching has gotten so bad the last two days I'm having trouble grabbing stuff with my fingers cuz they're so fat and swollen. Not to mention the itch... I'm getting on dem der steroids starting tonight to help clear it up. Prednisone and some other crap to help out. Gonna be a nasty few more days tho. I hate having nasty allergies.

Double edged sword. It's nice when I'm cutting, but eating enough to grow is expensive and time consuming. Especially with quality food sources.

Exactly. LoL.

Friggin hard work shoving food down practically constantly. I understand why people do the 6+
meals a day thing, pretty hard to get down a large amount of food otherwise.

If I had the time, I would seriously be aiming for a consistent 3800+ daily. Right now, kind of stuck at more or less maintaining weight.

Unless your stuff yourself stupid on oatmeal / fiber / veggies then yes it is a problem.

I hate being this light. At least I maintained much of my strength. But I know once I get this thyroid **** figured out and everything else sorted I'll be good to go

Health First.... i know your trying to get it sorted out, but do so ASAP! even if you have to see a specalist Swole.. you only get your health once dont try and prolong if you cannot. Dieting may of not aided your health either if it was messed up in the first place, that tends to happen to people when they do diet...

Most likely dieting tipped me over. I've always had borderline hypothyroid and it runs in my family

But I mean it is what it is. Hopefully January I'll be good To go. No use in crying over spilled milk so I'm just gonna take what I'm dealt and run with it as best I can

Plus it's fun when you pull 405 and then someone asks how much you weigh, and when you say 137 the looks on there face
