Sweetlou's training log

Notice that when you added the AI total test raised? If not as much is aromatizing, of course total T will rise some - means the AI is good.

You also can't hope for accountability from a UGL, but I would stick with what you have since it's only a few months.

Try dropping to ~125/wk. With everything else same. Can only help BP & e2 while not being a drastic transition. Libido and energy levels should stay solid.

Energy and libido are in the toilet.

Yes I know test will be higher is ai is included. But 15point difference in e2 equals a 500point increase in test? Higher then 250mg test and same ai dose from same company? Idk if I can buy that.

Bp has been high since treat decanate.

I hope these bp med sides clear up soon.

Light headed, dizzy, lose of feeling in hands and feet, lose of focus, frequent need to urinate. I looked it up after I got these effects. All are common sides. I wonder if I tough it out they will go away over time? Bp does feel better tho.

Can someone mention gutterpump (idk how) he takes this one so I'm curious if he has any of these when he started.

I thought I was just tired and maybe getting a uti. But same effects today and none this morning until 30min after I took it.

I think thats all you do lol.

Just put the "@" symbol and then the person's name. (I think)

I don't really notice many of the sides, maybe a bit of dizziness if I get up really quickly. Hopefully they go away for you. You're taking losartan?

Thanks bud. Do you split up the dose during the day? And what should I avoid while on it. Yes losartan 25mg ATM. I see potassium can be an issue?

Not sure about potassium. I used to only take it at night but when 'on' then I'd take some in the am too. My dr has me on something a bit stronger now called olmesartan. I just take it at bed.

25mg of losartan is a pretty low dose. I wouldn't think that'd bring on sides, but perhaps so for some people. I didn't really try to stay away from anything on losartan, or now.

No the company's inconsistency is certainly at the forefront of that issue, just saying that less aromatizing means more total t also. And estro is still higher than you want. ~30 is a common happy spot for many guys, anecdotally, so with the less test maybe e2 will get under 40 all other things same. My natural e2 was 32 with my total t at 644 recently and I feel pretty balanced.

You could even try 100mg/wk, but if poor lethargy libido isn't really from e2 that's too high pulling 50mg of test/wk might only make that worse.

Are you thinking about lowering it to 125 or even 100/wk?

Gonna buy some compression cuffs for my knees. Since its tendonitis. Compression take away my knee pain. Sleeves don't provide enough pressure. Or mine dont. If I have 16in around knees what size cuff would I get? 12 or 14in? Thanks guys. I tested this theory with bw squats and my thumbs pressing on the spot that hurts, no real pain.

OK I'll just take it at rest then and go from there with 25mg. Thanks bud! I appreciate the help.

Should I avoid pre workouts with nitrates and cialis while on this?

I am gonna lower it yes.

I see no point in having e2 around 30 if my test is high. My t to e ratio would be way off and id feel the way I do now. I personally feel best on no ai on test unless I'm using something else that produces estrogen. So if I can bring down my total t it'll bring down my e and I can drop the ai.

I always felt balanced on trt 125mg from legit drs.

I've abused cialis, viagra, levitra, and have stacked a couple of them more than a few times, all while on this :) I don't avoid anything and haven't run into any issues.

11/16/15-upper

Buffalo bar, still there but better yet again
275x5 rpe 9
Press
180x5 rpe 8-9

100 reps/30x3x10
Unilateral micro band facepulls/micro band pullapart complex
20/10 each way, 2 sets
One arm hangs 3 rounds.
Notes: frustrating day. Don't worry I'm seeing someone about my shoulder. One of guys talked me down after I got frustrated. Press went well. Gonna push it for now while I figure my shoulder out. Realizing unless I get these issues worked out quick, irs very unlikely I'll be doing a meet anytime soon. No real plan this week except to figure out what I can do and where I am realistically and going from there. Gonna buffalo bar bench for now.

Good to know! Thanks bud.

Still gonna avoid nitrates for now I guess. Esp prewo, could make for some potentially bad sessions.

True, better safe than sorry. I only use BCAAs without any nitrates, no agmatine, citrulline or anything like that, so I'm not sure how pre-workout supps can effect it.

I always try to experiment with anything away from training first. So you don't end up squatting while getting dizzy and lightheaded lol

11/17/15-lower
Warmup
Mc gill 3
Various hip/shoulder/calf stretches
Pause goblets/bss/seated band abduction
One arm and two arm swings

High bar squat 5/3/1 (brief pause just bc)
Work up
90%-385x5
Drop 15%
325x4x3
Drop again
225x10
Sldl betless opposite grip from comp grip
225x3x6 (right hammy had enough)
Left leg sldl
15lbs dB's 3x10
Abs wheel paused/wide grip lat pulls
10/105x10, 3 sets
Prowler low handles with 50lbs, 6 spints.
Notes: had a very rough plan coming in. I was gonna try high bar and if it failed just use the ssb. High bar worked out. Hit a top set and stopped at technical failure, dropped down and worked my groove. Form is coming along. Rocked my olys and brought my stance in. Freed up my hips some. Still have some extension issues, but getting better each session. Videos are a god send. Sldl were easy, gonna use them to build extra low stress dead lift volume. Conditioning sucks as always.

Edit about 8000lbs if volume. Gonna keep trying to add this over time.

2nd and 3rd rep looked better than the first. Like sean said, getting that torso linked up with everything else is the golden ticket. Looking good though. I'm knit picking

I want to be knit picked. I take the vids so I can pick myself apart. I felt the extension bad on the first rep so I did some correcting. Yes the big thing for me is get my torse connected. I have to really break my extension motor patterns on squats and pulls. Pulls is coming along better then squats at the moment. The 225 set had me fixing some things. Ill be squatting again on Friday and working to link it up again.

Anyone have an opinion on head position while squatting. I notice I extend more when head is up where when it's more neutral or down I dont. I have always read its bad to looks downward tho.

It's not bad to look down, but I personally feel it's easier to cave when things get heavy. I look straight ahead, maybe a tad bit up. If your torso is linked up and you're driving your upper back into the bar I don't think head position will make THAT much of a difference.

I think you nailed it. I agree with the caving. However I'm on the other end of that spectrum. Neutral or downward it is. Just gotta remember to pack my neck into the bar is all.

I've been told to look up like I have a hat on backwards and I want to press the bill into my back, to look down or neutral (neutral is down with my lean), and in between. I agree with Ian, it isn't going to make that much a difference. It doesn't for me.

Packing the neck and driving upper back into bar is really the critical part for me. I do that I stay in position generally

I like to look down but I really push my head back hard as I descend. No chicken neck though. Just driving my chin into my neck. I look maybe eight to ten feet in front of me, most people think it's weird but I operate best that way.
