Woo! No more prep! That's got to feel good

Yeah man I'm really happy about it. Not to mention my knee pain is gone too. So is most of my hip pain too. After I weigh in I'll do a light pump session to encourage proper fluid and carb placement too. Current weight this am was 216.6 and I'm eating like a slob. No weight cut this meet either.
 
Rant time.

Why on earth do so many power lifters cut 10-15lbs for a meet the. Refill on nothing but carb drinks and junk food? I understand being hungry and having cravings but we are here to perform so I'm gonna eat to perform everytime over eating for enjoyment every time. Esp the day before the meet. Drives me nuts.
 
U would think your would want something quality and quick all the junk would just make me feel sluggish

It'll also kill your appitite too. You should have a set plan for food after weighins. I always have one and have put on 8-10lbs each time I've used it.

People cut the weight because they're not strong enough for their weight (present). People drink all the gatorade and junk because it can work. I'm not trying to argue, and I don't have a lot of experience with it, but I'm usually strong as an ox after an absolutely sh*tty day of eating. I think the key is to know what will hold you back and what seems to work well for you. Lots of fatty junk is really going to hold your appetite back, but heavily processed food that is lower in fat but high in, say, powdered corn and salt is going to definitely let you pack it in.

And, like you said, if someone has really been dieting and cutting hard, sometimes they just f*cking lose it lol

Fruit is always a safe bet for me, and you can blend it up and drink it if you please.

I also perform well have eating junk but this is in the context of a normal diet. When depleted of carbs, water, and electrolytes I doubt one day of crappy eating will make up for it. I think you gotta have a better overall plan to recover at 100% from that.
 
Barely holding 219. Already 680g carbs in. Going to top out at 1000g for the day. Really unhappy with how little I out on. Not pissing like crazy or ****ty either. Only went once today.

Hjh is here with me. He cut from 214 to 198. Already 219. I've eaten way more then him too. I'm stoked for his performance.
 
I don't care who does it, I want frequent and also video updates! You guys are ready to rock. Don't worry about your lack of bloat, you did your part and now it's your time.

I went 8/9, (570, 355, 630) @198. Squat suffered because of the cut and there were only 8 lifters in my group. I would practically have to be wrapped for the lift after finishing the previous one. Took it easy on bench and close gripped it.

Lou just went 3/3 on squats, smoking 600 @220.

345 on bench, lost position on 375 and missed at *******.

585 pull, 615 right knee was shacking and hit the bar and it just away frome forward.

1530 total. 320lb raw meet PR at 220.

Will smoke these and more at my next meet. Tbh I'm a little upset with the pull esp how light and easy the third felt.

Will say this was the most mentally challenging meet I've done by far. Didn't start squatting till around 4pm and my last pull was at 930pm.

Yeah rps meet. They had a morning and night group. I was at the meet helping hjh at 9ish am and didn't start warming up for squats until 3:30ish pm.

Jordan Wong took the all time 220 with out wraps squat record at this meet too. 785.
 
I did get greedy on the bench. I had 365 in me yesterday but after the 600lb squat and with how 345 moved I was gonna make a run for a 1600lb total.

5'9. I may stay in the 220s but I want to lean out more and pack on the mass I need to bench bigger weights.
BTW the overreach and taper worked a charm. Never felt so good on a meet day and confident.

I will say my strained my left hamstring by the knee and my right calf on the 600lb. I had the cover myself in icy hot and sleeves and limped the rest of the meet and still was lifting with skipping a beat.

Thanks man! My team mates have better vids that will go up soon. I'll try to get all my attempts up. Yeah she does lol.

Jo took 1015 down the mono to the straps and fell to the ground. Idk if the vid of that is up yet. Some shw hit a 800lb wrapped squat. A shw girl squatted in the low 5s in just wraps too.
